A caravan of illegal immigrants is storming across Mexico.
They are dead-set on entering the United States.
And they just moved into their final phase, and the floodgates are opening at the border.
Illegal Caravan On The Move
The illegal migrant caravan is ballooning in size.
Upwards of 12,000 people are in it currently.
Those in the caravan claim to be seeking asylum.
But as it is now clear, many in the caravan are criminals and gang members.
One of those people candidly admits that.
The unnamed individual made that clear, speaking through a translator.
“Criminals are everywhere,” he said.
That’s why President Trump is fighting back against the caravan.
He has border patrol on alert and U.S. Troops are on the border.
They are placing barbed wire as a barrier.
And they are ready to use whatever force necessary to stop the caravan.
The only question now is when the caravan will arrive.
And out of nowhere that question was answered.
The Caravan’s Floodgates Open
On Wednesday, waves of hundreds of illegal migrants arrived at the border.
They are in the border town of Tijuana.
And some are already working their way across the border fence.
Most are staying in the city, awaiting the rest of the caravan.
They are going to try to gain asylum in the U.S.
Others are likely to stay in Tijuana, and not ever enter the U.S.
The city says that the city has 3,000 jobs available to caravan members.
It is unclear if the jobs will be filled.
In the end, the goal of the caravan is to enter the U.S.
And they are already at the border.
So many are going to attempt to cross into the U.S.
Most are waiting for the rest of the caravan to have a better chance crossing the border illegally.
This is despite the fact that Democrats claim that the caravan is full of peaceful people.
They know that U.S. Troops will be able to easily stop them if they go in small groups.
So they are likely to go in large numbers to try to overwhelm them.
And if they do, the only solid thing in their way is a fence and some barbed wire.
This border security failure lies squarely on past administrations.
Trump is working his hardest to secure the border, but can only do so much on his own.
A Wall Could Stop The Caravan
The one thing that could stop the caravan is a wall on the border with Mexico.
It is a solid well-built barrier.
But there has been little progress on the wall.
This is despite it being Trump’s top campaign promise.
Every time he tries to make progress, he faces opposition from both Democrats and weak-kneed Republicans.
He can’t even get them to support funding for the wall.
So if the caravan is able to enter the U.S., it can be blamed on them.
Do you support building a wall?
