Joe Biden delivered one of the angriest and most divisive speeches ever by an American president on January 6.
No president ever pulled anything like this before.
Fox News just called out Joe Biden for crossing one major line on a civil war.
Popular Fox News host Greg Gutfeld ripped into Joe Biden for Biden’s dark and un-American comments about January 6.
Gutfeld pointed to a tweet Biden posted to social media declaring that Biden was leading the battle for the soul of the nation as incendiary rhetoric declaring Trump supporters the bad guys in an American civil war.
“I have said it many times, and it is no more true or real than when we think about the events of January 6: We are in a battle for the soul of America. A battle that by the grace of God, and by the goodness and greatness of this nation, we will win,” Biden wrote.
Gutfeld explained that Joe Biden declaring Trump supporters the villains in an existential fight for the continued existence of America was unprecedented in history.
“Seriously, this is kind of a big deal because the president of the United States just said we were in a battle for the soul of America, and that implies a good side and a bad side, right, with two teams. Which means if you’re watching this show and you like this show, you’re probably on the bad team,” Gutfeld wrote.
In a battle for the soul of a nation there is an “us” and a “them.”
There is a “right” and a “wrong.”
Gutfeld argued Biden’s description of January 6 made it clear he saw 74 million Americans as terrorist threats to the country.
However, Gutfeld did give Biden one pass.
Gutfeld explained that Joe Biden deteriorated so rapidly mentally that his staff are really the ones pulling the strings and the next generation of left-wing activists do not see conservatives as fellow Americans arguing in good faith in the course of democratic politics.
“But there are people in his White House who believe we’re evil, you and me, because you didn’t vote for them. Maybe you voted for the other guy, who knows. And now Joe uses Jan. 6 to declare a war over the soul of a country,” Gutfeld continued.
That mentality led to frightening lines in Kamala Harris’ speech where Harris compared January 6 to 9/11 or Pearl Harbor.
“So if it’s us versus them, who’s them? It’s us, not the Germans or the Japanese, then again, who knows what year or century it is, in that scrambled egg he calls a mind. But he’s made this claim on a fabricated commemoration targeting his political adversaries, and Democrats were saying it’s worse than Pearl Harbor and 9/11,” Gutfeld stated.
In the cases off 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, the U.S. government mobilized for war and killed millions of the enemy in response.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris elevated Trump supporters to the equivalent of the Nazis, Imperialist Japanese and Al Qaeda in their telling of events.
And Greg Gutfeld warned that is a dangerous rhetorical path to travel down.
