Trump supporters count on Fox News Channel to challenge the corporate media’s liberal bias.
But Fox News just picked a side and it’s bad news for conservatives.
And Fox News just stabbed every Trump supporter in the back by crossing this big line.
Connecticut Democrat Chris Murphy is the leading gun grabber in the United States Senate.
Murphy pounces on tragedy in an attempt to emotionally blackmail and bully Republicans into caving in and supporting disarming the American people.
In the wake of the terrible tragedies in Buffalo and Connecticut Murphy took a new tact.
Instead of immediately pressing for so-called “assault weapons” bans and a new national gun registration database, Murphy claimed he would accept a “narrow” set of gun restrictions.
Fox News helped Murphy sell this gun grab to Republicans by publishing an op-ed from the Connecticut senator.
Conservatives oppose even so-called “minor” gun grabs because they know the Democrats’ ultimate plan is for banning and confiscating 100 percent of all firearms in America.
Fox News allowed Murphy to falsely claim that is not the case.
“But before I could take my seat, the campaign had begun to try to make conservative gun owners believe my offer wasn’t sincere – that I really had a secret agenda to take people’s guns away. That isn’t true. That’s never been true. I believe that the Second Amendment protects a citizen’s right to buy and own firearms,” Murphy stated.
But later on in the op-ed Murphy made it clear he intended to one day ban so-called “assault weapons.”
“But I also believe that like every constitutional right, there are limits. I don’t believe the Constitution protects the right of criminals or people with serious mental illness to own weapons. And while all of us might draw the line in a different place, I think we all agree that the Constitution allows Congress to decide which weapons are so dangerous as to be kept exclusively in the hands of the military,” Murphy wrote.
And since “assault weapons” is a made-up term Democrats like Murphy can define assault weapon however they choose to cast the widest net possible on which types of firearms they want to ban.
In the same op-ed Murphy even admitted all the gun control in the world would not have stopped the killer in Texas from carrying out his act of evil.
“I don’t know if any of these reforms would have stopped the massacre at Robb Elementary or at Tops Friendly Market in Buffalo,” Murphy continued.
But while Murphy used Fox News to try and convince Republicans he was a harmless moderate, Murphy used the liberal media to communicate with the gun grabbers that he was playing conservatives for suckers.
POLITICO reported that Murphy told a group of anti-gun activists that Murphy’s goal was to get Republicans to accept a “narrow” gun control bill so that way when the next tragedy occurred Murphy and other Democrats could pass laws that ban and confiscate firearms and turn Americans into felons based on magazine capacity.

RINOs like Texas Senator John Cornyn, North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell are falling for Murphy’s trap.
They are in the process of negotiating a sellout that will allow anti-gun judges to order government agents to storm into Americans’ homes and seize their firearms without any due process of law.
This is the “minor” gun control bill Murphy plans to use as getting the camel’s nose under the tent to eventually ban and confiscate every single firearm in America.
