In the age of fake news, Sean Hannity is a welcomed breath of fresh air.
But for the Democrats, he is one of their number one enemies.
And he just proved why by saying something so epic that Hillary Clinton is fuming with anger.
While it isn’t difficult to make former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton angry, Fox News pundit Sean Hannity has made it into an art. This is just one of the many reasons that he’s a major ally of President Donald Trump.
In a recent Fox News segment, Sean Hannity dropped the hammer on Hillary Clinton using nothing more than sarcasm. Speaking about potential targets of a subpoena by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Hannity gave some advice:
“Delete all your emails, and then acid wash the emails and hard drives on your phones, then take your phones and bash them with a hammer into little itsy bitsy pieces, use BleachBit, remove the sim cards.”
And as for what to do once Mueller asks for the information, Hannity simply stated to hand the pieces over to Mueller, telling him
“Hillary Rodham Clinton, this is equal justice under the law.”
He was, of course, being sarcastic, which is a fact that many left-leaning publications have left out. But his advice is a hilarious jab at Hillary Clinton, who famously destroyed a private email server that she was using to send and receive classified information.
Despite it being obvious that she acted at best extremely carelessly, and at worse, criminally negligent, she got off the hook. Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey publicly scolded Clinton, while at the same time making clear that she was not going to be indicted for any criminal offense.
But while Hillary Clinton got away with it, it is very unlikely that anyone under the microscope of Robert Mueller would get the same treatment. President Donald Trump already made it known that if similar activities occurred when he was in charge of the justice system that the perpetrator “would be in jail.”
Now that he is in charge of the justice system, he has made it clear that those close to him won’t get special treatment. The massive amount of turnover within his administration is proof of that. Being a strong populist, he doesn’t just believe in working to enact policies to help the common man, he also believes that those in high positions should get equal justice under the law, like any other common citizen.
So while Hannity’s advice is humorous, it’s obvious that he understands that things are different under President Trump. Hannity even asked rhetorically in response,
“How do you think that would work out for everybody? I’m certain the result would not be the same as Hillary’s.”
With Robert Mueller’s investigation officially in its second year, the time for subpoenas could come any day now. The real question that should be on the mind is if they will be executed similarly to President Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, who was raided by law enforcement officials for information related to so-called Russia collusion.
Only time will tell how this plays out. But one thing is for certain, Robert Mueller’s clock is running out, and he is not going to be able to keep his investigation going on forever.
