Special counsel John Durham pressed ahead with his criminal investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
That is bad news for Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.
And Hillary Clinton is terrified a jury will get their hands on these smoking gun documents.
Special counsel John Durham charged Clinton campaign and Perkins Coie attorney Michael Sussmann with lying to the FBI in a September 2016 meeting where Sussmann allegedly falsely claimed he was not acting on behalf of his client, the Clinton campaign, when Sussmann pushed a Big Lie about a server at Trump Tower communicating with the Alfa Bank in Moscow, establishing supposed “collusion” between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.
The Federal Election Commission recently fined the Clinton campaign for reporting payments to Perkins Coie for legal services when Perkins Coie really took the money and hired ex-British spy Christopher Steele to put together the phony Russian collusion dossier.
Durham is seeking emails and documents between Fusion GPS – the opposition research firm that contracted Steele – and Perkins Coie as evidence to show that Sussmann was working in his capacity as an agent of the Clinton campaign in his meeting with the FBI.
The Clinton campaign filed a motion with the judge claiming any records fall under attorney-client privilege.
Hillary For America now intervenes in the Michael Sussmann case-
Says the Perkins Coie/Fusion GPS communications and work product is "privileged"
In support, Robby Mook swears under penalty of perjury that Fusion GPS was retained to provide "legal services and legal advice"

Sussmann’s fellow Perkins Coie attorney Marc Elias previously wrote in a book that Perkins Coie contracted Fusion GPS for opposition research.
Already caught Fusion GPS in a lie. 🤷♂️
Fusion GPS tells the Court it was retained by Marc Elias to support his "legal advice".

Opposition research is clearly not legal advice or work and thus not covered under attorney-client privilege.
The Clinton campaign is obviously terrified that their communications about the Steele dossier and its phony claims of Russian collusion will see the light of day.
But this long-shot effort to suppress the truth about the origins of the Russian collusion hoax looks doomed to fail.
The Sussmann trial looks like the best opportunity for special counsel Durham to lay out all the facts and evidence he gathered about how the Clinton campaign cooked up the real Big Lie, and was the falsehood that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin concocted a scheme to steal the presidency from Hillary Clinton.
