Hillary Clinton isn’t known to be an honest person.
She is well known for stretching the truth, and oftentimes just straight up lying.
And she just dropped her most insane lie yet.
Taking a break from her difficult schedule of not being president, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke in front of the Democrat Party of New York at their annual convention. Her presence gave the dismal crowd a long-awaiting boost in morale, and her speech resulting in roaring cheers and applause.
But, like most things that seem to come out of the mouth of Hillary Clinton, much of what she said was not based in reality.
The most glaring mistruth she spoke was ironically about the truth, or in her mind, the lack of truth spoken by Republicans. Clinton stated that Democrats “believe in facts.”
“I followed in the footsteps of Daniel Patrick Moynihan, someone whose words have been on my mind recently. He said, ‘everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not his own facts,’” Clinton stated. “Well as Democrats, we believe in facts, real ones, not the alternative kind. It is hard to believe this even needs to be said, but that is where we are these days.”
In stating “alternative” in relation to facts, Clinton is making an obvious jab at Trump administration Counselor Kellyanne Conway, who used the term “alternative facts” in response to an anti-Trump claim relating to crowd-sizes at the inauguration.
While most people would agree that facts are important, Clinton is the last person who should be preaching about them.
Hillary Clinton is infamously known for lying, with her lies surrounding the sending of classified information through her private email server possibly costing her the 2016 election.
Her lies became so apparent that many left-wing media outfits couldn’t defend her, and were forced to admit that she lied.
In the early days of the private email accusations against her, Clinton made the claim that she “never sent or received any classified material.”
But as the investigation into her private email usage continued, and the November 2016 General Election got closer, she began adding a qualifier to her statement, not that she “never sent or received classified information,” but instead that she never sent or received anything “marked” classified.
Adding the term “marked” made the content of what she received irrelevant to the statement, and instead made the label of her information the subject. It became clear that was the case because the FBI confirmed Clinton had used her private email server to send classified information.
But even that statement ended up being untrue after the State Department revealed that a number of the 30,000 emails they analyzed were labeled as “classified.”
Despite these revelations, countless Democrats defended Hillary Clinton by trying to claim that she did nothing wrong.
While the defense of Hillary Clinton during her email scandal may be the most well-known Democrat lie in recent years, there have been countless other examples of Democrats deceiving the public both to help themselves and harm Republicans like President Donald Trump.
Just recently President Trump came under fire for calling MS-13 gang members “animals.” The only reason he received flak for that statement is because many on the left misinterpreted his words, trying to claim he was referring to all illegal immigrants as “animals.”
Even after it became clear that his statement was misrepresented, many on the left didn’t care and continued to parrot the anti-Trump lie.
There are dozens upon dozens of similar examples of this, making one thing clear: Democrats don’t care about the truth, especially in the Trump-era where they are grasping for relevance.
