Hillary Clinton is clearly preparing to run for president in 2024.
This effort is going as well as the first two failed attempts.
And Hillary Clinton tried to shut down Donald Trump and it instantly blew up in her face.
The latest sign that Clinton is putting the pieces in place for a presidential campaign if Joe Biden does not seek re-election in 2024 is Clinton adopting the hobby horses of the Democrat Party base.
Democrats’ latest crusade involves supporting laws mandating social media censorship of so-called “misinformation.”
Clinton tweeted in favor of a law in Europe called the Digital Services Act which would force social media companies to enact harsh censorship laws and suppress content deemed “illegal” in European countries.
“For too long, tech platforms have amplified disinformation and extremism with no accountability. The EU is poised to do something about it,” Clinton wrote.
“I urge our transatlantic allies to push the Digital Services Act across the finish line and bolster global democracy before it’s too late,” Clinton added.
Critics slammed Clinton coming out in favor of un-American legislation to suppress free speech and censor political content on social media.
The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis noted Clinton’s campaign attorney from 2016 faced criminal charges for lying to the FBI for his role in the Russian collusion hoax.
“You[sic] former campaign lawyer is under federal indictment for lying to the FBI about the Russiagate hoax that your campaign funded. Sit down.” Davis wrote.
Washington Examiner columnist Tim Carney said liberals like Clinton gave the game on “disinformation” when they lied about the Hunter Biden laptop story being the result of Russian information.
Carney explained that episode revealed that to Democrats and the media “misinformation” just means information that makes Democrats look bad.
“Once they called the revelations from Hunter’s laptop ‘disinformation’ they made it clear the word simply means ‘stuff damaging to Democrats.’ It shocks me that journalists take cries of ‘disinformation’ seriously still,” Carney posted on social media.
And, of course, Clinton herself was one of the biggest culprits of spreading misinformation.
On November 1, 2016, Clinton tweeted out a false story published in Slate that originated with her own campaign.
Clinton tweeted that Slate found that computer scientists found a suspicious link between a server in Trump Tower and Alfa Bank in Moscow.

The John Durham investigation found that the Clinton campaign’s lawyers worked with researchers at Georgia Tech to spy on Donald Trump.
One of Durham’s court filings showed that Durham took these data – as well as supposed data showing Trump and his associates used Russian-made phones – to the CIA and the FBI.
According to Durham the government agencies found the data implausible and “user generated.”
As usual Hillary Clinton and the left were guilty of what they accuse conservatives of doing.
And the left’s push for more online censorship is only targeted at conservatives.
Under the left’s online regulation regime, liberals will be able to post whatever disinformation they see fit.
