Republican investigations are bad news for the Biden family.
They are about to make Hunter Biden’s legal situation even worse.
Hunter Biden froze with terror when he heard these charges coming soon.
While Hunter Biden has faced many scandals in his past, he now may have to defend himself in a court of law as David Weiss, the U.S. attorney for Delaware and a 2017 nomination by then-President Donald Trump, will soon decide whether Hunter Biden will face charges concerning alleged illegal tax deductions and allegedly lying when purchasing a firearm.
Back in October the Washington Post reported that federal investigators believe that they have a chargeable case against Hunter Biden and that the case would possibly come to court in the next few months.
In 2018 Hunter Biden bought a gun and in the copy of the Firearms Transaction Record according to Politico he responded “no” to a question on the transaction record that asks, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?”
Later the widow of his brother Beau and girlfriend Hallie Biden took the gun and threw it into a trashcan across the street from a high school.
In text messages reported by the Washington Examiner, Hallie said she was worried Hunter would “use” the firearm. Hunter complained how he did not believe he would “ever recover from all of this,” noting that Hallie’s actions made it appear he had “threatened you and your family with a gun.”
The “Secret Service agents approached the owner of the store where Hunter bought the gun and asked to take the paperwork involving the sale,” but “the gun store owner refused to supply the paperwork, suspecting that the Secret Service officers wanted to hide Hunter’s ownership of the missing gun in case it were to be involved in a crime.” Politico reported.
At the same time in 2018 Hunter was allegedly ignoring reminders from his accountant that he needed to pay his 2017 personal and business tax returns, which were reportedly over $800,000.
“The next month, having been ignored, Morgan tried to get Hunter’s attention again, pointing out that he also needed to file his 2016 tax returns. Morgan told Hunter that the IRS had instructed the State Department not to renew his passport because of his outstanding tax liens. Yet, the newspaper says that Weiss’s ability to charge Hunter for not paying his taxes was made difficult when Hunter borrowed the necessary $2 million and paid the IRS the full amount he owed,” the Washington Examiner reported.
Republicans will also be starting investigations into Hunter’s relations with Ukraine and China while his father was vice president.
