The mainstream media are desperate to hide the huge mistake Hunter Biden made.
There’s no excuse for what he did.
Hunter Biden trembled when he heard the felony charges he could be facing.
President Joe Biden is looking to take away guns from responsible gun owners.
But the President hasn’t been willing to deal with the fact that his son Hunter allegedly lied on his 4473 form in order to buy a gun.
In 2018 Hunter Biden answered ‘no’ to the question about drug use on the Firearms Transaction Record in order to purchase a gun.
“Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” the form asks. “Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.”
Hunter Biden’s sister-in-law and girlfriend, Hallie Biden, was so disturbed when she found the gun that she reportedly took the gun and threw it away in a grocery dumpster which prompted the police to be called.
Hunter Biden has openly admitted the scandalous lifestyle that he’s lived in the past.
In a CBS News interview earlier this month, Hunter Biden recounted how during his drug addiction he found himself on his “hands and knees picking through rugs smoking anything that resembled crack cocaine.”
A group of two dozen Republican members of Congress on Monday sent a letter to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) nominee David Chipman, requesting that he investigate Hunter Biden, if confirmed, for the false information he gave in the 4473 form.
“I write to ask that you publicly commit to investigate allegations that Hunter Biden falsified information during a background check in order to illegally obtain a firearm should you be confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF),” the letter states.
In the letter, Rep. Bob Good said that every citizen in America should be kept accountable to the same standard.
“Many Americans are rightfully alarmed by these reports considering Mr. Biden’s history of drug use. In the past, the Biden family has been open about Mr. Biden’s struggle with substance abuse, and Navy records indicate his discharge from service following a positive drug test. Since lying on a background check form is a felony, this allegation merits investigation. Sadly, lying on background checks is common, often called ‘lying and trying’, but rarely prosecuted. The Government Accountability Office reported in 2017 that of the 112,000 lie-and-try crimes that year, only 12 were prosecuted,” the letter said.
