Since taking office, Rep. Ilhan Omar has been making waves.
Using Twitter, she has spread crazy anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
And she just used it again to accuse Trump of the worst thing imaginable.
When Ilhan Omar isn’t posting anti-Semitic attacks against Israel online, her top issue is opposing President Trump on his plans to secure the border.
Omar believes that the border needs to be less secure and that we need to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants already in the United States.
She essentially believes in open borders, which are proven to be dangerous.
On the other side, President Trump is fighting for strong borders, with a wall along the Southern border being his top priority.
Trump understands how dangerous open borders are for communities, and for the future of the United States.
Illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers upwards of $200 billion a year, making a $5.7 billion wall a no-brainer.
But to Rep. Omar, it is a waste of time.
Not only that, but she believes it is nothing more than a “monument to racism.”
She makes this claim in a tweet, in which she claims that Trump’s national emergency is fake:
“This is a fake emergency! Donald Trump is lying about the border in order to build his monument to racism.”
Her tweet is a disgusting lie that any victim of illegal immigration can see through.
It is nothing more than an attempt to stifle the progress Trump is making on the border.
Democrats are shifting radically to the left, with the election of an extremist like Rep. Omar proving that.
So they ultimately are shifting towards eliminating any security on the border, making Trump’s wall a massive threat to their ultimate plan.
Not only that, but if Trump is able to build his wall, he will be fulfilling his top campaign promise, making his re-election odds much greater.
So Democrats aren’t going to go quietly on this issue.
But Trump is one step ahead of them and is working on building the wall without needing to go through them.
His national emergency will allow the military to build the border using unobligated military funds.
Already, the Pentagon is helping Trump achieve that.
A few weeks ago, a letter was sent to lawmakers from the Pentagon which lists nearly $12.9 billion in unobligated military construction funds that can be used for Trump’s wall.
This proves what Trump has been saying since the beginning of his push for a national emergency.
We already have the funds for it and can easily fund the entire wall without needing to appropriate any new funds.
Building the wall simply takes a sliver of funding from our massive military budget.
And with Trump already eliminating the ISIS threat, there is plenty of money to move around to other causes.
There is nothing Trump can do more to make the United States safe than building a wall.
Do you support building a wall on the border?
