Ilhan Omar has been fully exposed for her anti-Semitism and ties to Muslim extremists.
But despite this, she continues her work as a Congresswoman without impediment.
But that is changing after she posted something so awful she had to delete it.
As a Muslim woman, Ilhan Omar is automatically a hero in the Democrat Party.
They are obsessed with putting diversity over quality, elevating figures in the party based on their immutable characteristics.
But now, her rising star status is beginning to fade away.
And it’s due largely to a number of anti-Semitic comments she has been making.
One relating to Israel is causing the most flak.
In response to a tweet about politicians who support Israel, she responds that their support is “all about the Benjamins,” implying that Israel is buying off U.S. politicians.
This is a long-held portion of an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that Israel, and therefore Jews, control the U.S. government.
While Omar initially stood by her comments, days later she was forced to come out and make a weak apology, while still saying she is “standing strong.”
And the comments are causing an uproar of anger, demanding she step down from her position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Her view on Israel is one that many on the committee believe is incompatible, considering the strong relationship between the U.S. and Israel.
But even with that pressure, coming from figures as high up as Vice President Mike Pence, she has been sticking by her comments.
That is until this week.
After having the tweet up for weeks, out of nowhere it is gone.
She clearly understands just how bad her comment is.
There is no country in the world under a larger threat of violence than Israel.
Simply for being a largely Jewish state, the Muslim world wants them wiped off the map.
And that is the reason the U.S. allies so closely with them.
If it weren’t for U.S. support, Israel would not exist.
This is the reasoning Vice President Pence gives in calling for her removal, saying:
“I think it’s important that people that articulate anti-Semitic views are also held accountable … There were consequences to what he said. And unless Representative Omar resigns from Congress, at minimum Democrat leaders should remove her from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.”
But Democrats aren’t going to do anything to her.
Democrats never feel they need to pay for their wrongdoings.
In Virginia, despite all of their top state officials being in scandals exposing racism, or sexual assault allegations, they are continuing to stay in power.
And people like Hillary Clinton will put national security at risk with an unsecure email server, and lie to Congress, but they get away with it.
But when pro-Trump figures like Roger Stone face accusations of perjury, they get hit with the full force of the law.
The law is clearly not equal in this country between Republicans and Democrats.
