Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar continues to find herself in hot water.
She can’t seem to stay out of trouble, and her wrongdoing goes back many years.
And now her entire career is over after a new investigation just launched.
Ilhan Omar seems to think she can get away with whatever she wants.
She truly believes she is above the law, and above the ability to face criticism.
So when she makes horrifically anti-Semitic comments, she believes she can’t be criticized for it.
And that seems to extend to her unlawful activities.
She is accused of immigration fraud for marrying one man while actually living with, and filing joint tax returns with another man.
Even more troubling is that the man she is accused of committing immigration fraud with, is her own brother.
That’s why Judicial Watch is launching an official investigation, filing a complaint with the House Ethics office.
And they have a lot of evidence to back his complaint.
According to Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch, “the possible crimes include ‘perjury, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, state and federal tax fraud, and federal student loan fraud.’”
“The House of Representatives must urgently investigate and resolve the serious allegations of wrongdoing by Rep. Omar,” Fitton said.
And there are a lot of specifics in his complaint.
Fitton says that the evidence in his complaint comes from a three-year investigation in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
He claims that the evidence is “supported by information gathered from public records, social media postings, genealogy databases, computer forensic analysis, unaltered digital photographs, discussions between the investigative reporters and the subjects of the investigation themselves, and information supplied by confidential sources within the Somali-American community.”
The specific offenses Fitton outlines are that Rep. Omar, who is a U.S. citizen, married her biological brother Ahmed Elmi, who was a citizen of the United Kingdom in 2009, in order to defraud the U.S. government and grant him citizenship.
Judicial Watch’s complaint alleges that the two got divorced in 2017, but that throughout the entire marriage with Elsi, she was living with another man named Ahmed Hirsi.
The complaint also alleges that Omar gave birth to children fathered by Hirsi and that there are legal documents, like speeding tickets, that prove that Omar and Hirsi lived together throughout her marriage to Elmi.
The allegations against Omar are very serious.
And Judicial Watch has all the receipts to back their claims.
This investigation, assuming that Democrats in the House don’t stand in the way, is very likely to destroy the political career of Omar.
But for all intents and purposes, her career is basically over.
Recent polling shows that she has around a 9% approval rating.
That rating is unbelievably low.
But if there is anybody who it makes sense for, it’s Omar.
Since taking office she has made a name for herself as a radical.
She made dozens of anti-Semitic and anti-America tweets since taking office.
Not to mention the fact that she downplayed the horrific terrorist attack on 9/11, simply as “some people” doing “something.”
