All eyes were on Iowa as the first votes for the 2020 presidential race took place.
But you won’t believe who won.
And the Iowa caucus turned into a disaster. Here’s what Trump had to say.
Monday’s Iowa caucus was one of the biggest disasters in recent history.
An error in a private app used to count votes left many in the dark on who the true winner was.
Many of the Democratic candidates even moved to declare themselves the victor and make speeches.
Pete Buttigieg and Bernie Sanders were two of these candidates who declared themselves early victors.
Via Fox News:
“77 percent of our precinct captains have reported results from their caucuses,” a Buttigieg aide told Fox News, noting that previous projections “had the race at a virtual tie on state delegate equivalents, but from the 77 percent of reported precincts, we’re performing 8 points better than our projections.”
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders released internal data that his campaign said represented vote totals from 40 percent of precincts. The figures, which indicated Sanders was winning with a narrow lead over Buttigieg, were also unverified.
Former Vice President Joe Biden also expressed optimism, saying, “We’re gonna walk out of here with our share of delegates. We don’t know exactly what it is yet, but we feel good about where we are.”
Buttigieg was also quoted as saying:
Buttigieg – who also needed a strong finish in Iowa to help propel his campaign – went a step further than his rivals by declaring victory.
“So we don’t know the results. But we know. By the time it’s all said and done, you have shocked, the nation,” the former South Bend, Indiana mayor told his supporters. “Because by all indications. We are going on to New Hampshire victorious.”
And President Trump was quick to call out the faulty system.
The Democrat Caucus is an unmitigated disaster. Nothing works, just like they ran the Country. Remember the 5 Billion Dollar Obamacare Website, that should have cost 2% of that. The only person that can claim a very big victory in Iowa last night is “Trump”.

But despite the uncertainty on the left, the polls showed who the country really wants.
Donald Trump came out as the clear winner with an unprecedented 97% of votes.
Tens of thousands more voters came and rallied behind the President than expected.
So while the left was left to fight over who was the clear winner, President Trump was shown as the strong leader that America clearly wants.
There is no contest when it comes to who the American people want to lead them.
They want four more years of Trump, the only President who has truly fought for them and their rights.
Trump fights for the people, not for his own political gain.
And he is prepared to do so for another term.
