The blockbuster Inspector General report about the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton has finally been made public.
Comey’s corrupt behavior while running the FBI was laid bare for all to see.
And Comey was hiding this awful truth about why Hillary Clinton wasn’t prosecuted.
The Inspector General’s report details how Comey had FBI agents telling him if they did what Clinton did they would be in big trouble:
“If you used a personal email, Gmail or if you [had] the capabilities to set up your own email domain, if you used an unclassified personal email system to do our business in the course of doing our business even though you were communicating with people with clearances and doing work you discussed classified matters in that, in those communications, TS/SCI, special access programs, you would be in huge trouble in the FBI,”
To make matters worse, Comey was using a personal Gmail account to conduct FBI business on at least five different occasions.
The report concluded,
“We identified numerous instances in which Comey used a personal email account (a Gmail account) to conduct FBI business.”
Critics immediately pointed out that Comey was engaging in the exact same secretive behavior Hillary was with regards to using private email.
Clinton and Comey used private email accounts to shield their communications from public record-keeping laws.
In addition, Comey was covering for Barack Obama.
In a footnote, investigators wrote
“FBI analysts and Prosecutor 2 told us that former President Barack Obama was one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail.com account. Obama, like other high level government officials, used a pseudonym for his username on his official government email account.”
In a March 2015 interview with CBS, Obama claimed he learned about Hillary’s email server through news reports.
CBS reported:
CBS News senior White House correspondent Bill Plante asked Mr. Obama when he learned about her private email system after his Saturday appearance in Selma, Alabama.
“The same time everybody else learned it through news reports,” the president told Plante.
Comey was really covering up for two individuals by not charging Hillary.
He was protecting himself.
And he was concealing the fact that Obama lied to the American people and was deeply involved in this scandal.
The report details the evidence that proves the FBI was covering up Obama’s involvement.
Agents revised their report on the investigations to delete any reference to Obama and only refer to him as a “senior government official:
“A June 25 draft added a sentence to a paragraph that summarized the factors that led the FBI to conclude that it was possible that hostile actors accessed former Secretary Clinton’s private server. This new sentence stated, “She also used her personal email extensively while outside the United States, including from the territory of sophisticated adversaries. That use included an email exchange with the President while Secretary Clinton was on [sic] the territory of such an adversary.” On June 30, Rybicki circulated another version that changed the second sentence to remove the reference to the President, replacing it with 196 “another senior government official.”
Clinton was mishandling classified information and evading public record-keeping laws with Obama’s full knowledge and consent.
This report is a sharp rebuke to not just Comey’s conduct as Director of the FBI, but his book tour where he presented himself as the picture of ethical leadership in Washington.
In reality, the Clinton investigation was just one swamp creature – Comey – looking out for swamp dwellers – Clinton and Obama – who were higher up on the food chain.
It was a classic Washington cover-up.
Comey clearly rushed his book for an April publishing date so he could cash in and make millions before the American people were given a full accounting of his corrupt and biased conduct as FBI Director.
