Nancy Pelosi, Never Trumpers, and the corporate media all settled on their narrative about January 6.
But not surprisingly, Pelosi, the Trump-haters and the press are all lying.
And this January 6 smoking gun is the evidence that Nancy Pelosi wants to keep buried forever.
House Republicans released their own report to counteract the sham January 6 committee’s political document.
Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, and the rest of the anti-Trump diehards on the committee want to focus almost exclusively on blaming Trump for what happened on January 6.
But Republicans put together their own report showing the committee is omitting key facts and evidence due to the fact that their only goal was to inflict political damage on Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign and not to arrive at any kind of truthful accounting of events.
Republicans proved this by demonstrating in their report the failures of law enforcement to act on intelligence and secure the Capitol ahead of January 6.
“Leadership and law enforcement failures within the U.S. Capitol left the complex vulnerable on January 6, 2021,” the report read. “The Democrat-led investigation in the House of Representative[s], however, has disregarded those institutional failings that exposed the Capitol to violence that day.”
Republicans wrote that the Capitol Police’s intelligence division was “undermined” by then-House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving who wrapped himself up in irrelevant priorities.
“However, officers on the front lines and analysts in USCP’s intelligence division were undermined by the misplaced priorities of their leadership,” the report added. “Those problems were exacerbated by the House Sergeant at Arms, who was distracted from giving full attention to the threat environment prior to January 6, 2021, by several other upcoming events.”
Republicans revealed that the House sergeant at arms worked in secret with one of Pelosi’s top staffers to keep Republicans in the dark about key January 6 decisions.
“In one case, Irving even asked a senior Democratic staffer to ‘act surprised’ when he sent key information about plans for the Joint Session on January 6, 2021 to him and his Republican counterpart,” the report continued. “The senior Democratic staffer replied: ‘I’m startled!’”
The Republican report then detailed allegations that Irving, Pelosi’s staff, and the Capitol Hill Police all rejected a National Guard deployment on January 6 out of the fear that the American people would perceive it as the D.C. swamp calling in the military to stomp on Trump supporters.
“Documents and communications show concerns about the public perception of military personnel at the Capitol and how the use of force by officers against violent protestors were well known among Irving, Democratic leadership, and USCP leadership,” then added that those concerns “diminished” the ability of the Capitol Hill Police to “effectively defend” the Capitol.
This is the real story of January 6.
And it’s obvious as to why Nancy Pelosi tried to keep it secret.
