Jen Psaki is supposed to spin reality, facts and the truth all the time.
Psaki’s job is trying to create a false picture of Joe Biden as a successful president.
But sometimes the truth comes out and Jen Psaki accidentally admitted one thing about Trump and Russia that Joe Biden will hate.
In an interview at CNN, Psaki stepped on a political landmine by stating that Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine and annexed Crimea back when she served in the State Department in 2014.
“I was at the State Department, the president was the vice-president the last time Russia invaded Ukraine,” Psaki stated. “This is a pattern of horror from President Putin and from the cronies around him.”
That was an incredible self-own.
In 2014 Joe Biden was vice president when Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine.
In 2022 when Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine, Joe Biden was the president.
Vladimir Putin did not invade Ukraine from 2017 to 2021 when Donald Trump was president.
Former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway admitted it was nice to see Psaki telling the truth for once.

Heritage Foundation Communications Director John Cooper mocked Psaki for saying out loud that Putin thought her boss was a chump.
“Reminding people that a top adversary has taken advantage of your boss not just once, but twice, is…not great messaging,” Cooper wrote on social media.
At the State of the Union a clearly impaired Biden tried to reassure the American people.
“I know news about what’s happening can seem alarming to all Americans, but, I want you to know, we’re going to be OK. We’re going to be OK,” Biden stated. “When the history of this era is written, Putin’s war in Ukraine will have left Russia weaker and the rest of the world stronger.
“Six days ago, Russia’s Vladimir Putin sought to shake the very foundations of the free world, thinking he could make it bend to menacing ways—but he badly miscalculated,” Biden continued. “He thought he could roll into Ukraine and the world would roll over. Instead, he met with a wall, a wall of strength he never anticipated or imagined—he met the Ukrainian people.”
Putin clearly thinks Biden is a pushover.
Biden botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan and Putin viewed Biden as a bumbling incompetent.
That failure likely created the permission structure in Putin’s mind to move ahead with this mad and immoral invasion of Ukraine.
Jen Psaki’s job is to stay on message and convince Americans of Joe Biden’s version of reality.
But in this case Jen Psaki committed the dictionary definition of a gaffe in Washington – namely telling the truth when you are not supposed to.
