Thousands of Americans are trapped in areas controlled by terrorists.
But the Biden administration doesn’t want to admit this reality.
Jen Psaki lost her cool completely when she got hit with these five words.
The situation in Afghanistan is a complete disaster.
The Biden Administration doesn’t know how many Americans are trapped in Kabul.
Any American trying to escape would have to go through Taliban checkpoints to get to Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport.
The Taliban has complete control over who gets to the airport.
Unlike other nations, America has been sending out troops to help Americans who can’t get to the airport.
And in fact, Americans have been told recently to “shelter in place” rather than go to the airport after reports of Taliban violence towards those trying to get to the airport.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, admitted on Monday evening that it would be “very unlikely” that America will have all Americans evacuated from Afghanistan by August 31.
Despite this reality, White House press secretary Jen Psaki denied Monday that Americans are stranded in Afghanistan.
“Does the president have the sense that most of the criticism is not of leaving Afghanistan, it’s the way that he has ordered it to happen by pulling the troops before getting these Americans who are now stranded,” Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Psaki. “Does he have a sense of that?”
Psaki then made the claim that Americans aren’t “stranded.”
“First of all, I think it is irresponsible to say Americans are stranded. They are not,” she said. “We are committed to bringing Americans who want to come home, home. We are in touch with them via phone, via text, via email, via any way we can possibly reach Americans to get them home if they want to return home.”
“There are no Americans stranded is the White House’s official position on what is happening in Afghanistan?” Doocy asked.
“I’m just calling you out for saying we are stranding Americans in Afghanistan, when we have been very clear that we are not leaving Americans who want to return home, we are going to bring them home, and I think that’s important for the American public to hear and understand.”
However, Americans in Afghanistan do feel stranded.
A woman going by the pseudonym “Fatima” made an appearance on “Fox & Friends First,” begging for help.
“We are in danger. We are in danger, Mr. President. Please help us,” the woman said, adding, “Yes, we are stranded.”
She instead took the time to thank Republican Rep. Carol Miller and her team for being “my only strength” and working with her to find a way to return her to America.
