Last week, Joe Biden was repeatedly heard claiming that he was arrested visiting Nelson Mandela in South Africa.
Despite multiple outlets debunking that claim, he continued to sell it.
And Joe Biden admitted to another lie. Here’s why he will never tell the truth.
Former Vice President Joe Biden has done nothing but lie his entire campaign.
Most believe that he is even senile, often forgetting what state he is in, and even what office he is running for.
And now, he just admitted to another lie, proving that he will never tell the truth.
Last week, Biden made the claim several times over that he was arrested in South Africa attempting to visit a jailed Nelson Mandela.
But there was countless evidence against this claim.
Now, he has come clean regarding the fabricated tale.
Daily Caller reports:
Former Vice President Joe Biden admitted Friday morning on CNN that he lied numerous times about being arrested in South Africa for trying to meet with then-imprisoned Nelson Mandela.
Biden has claimed on the campaign trail in recent weeks that he was arrested in the 1970s while trying to visit Mandela, the former president of South Africa. His campaign clarified the false claim Feb. 25, saying that the former vice president was referring to being “separated from a congressional delegation.”
Even though his campaign attempted to do damage control, it was too late. America already saw the truth about Biden.
“I wasn’t arrested, I was stopped,” Biden finally admitted while on CNN’s “New Day With Alisyn Camerota and John Berman.”
“When I said arrested, I was not able to — I was not able to move. Cops would not let me go with them [the Congressional Black Caucus],” Biden added.
Biden said that the incident happened while with a “black delegation” and that he was sent in the direction of a “white only” door, which he refused to go through. Biden said that he was kept until “it was clear” he would not be moving, at which point he was taken “through a baggage claim area up to a restaurant.”
Taken through a baggage claim to a restaurant is a very different experience than being arrested.
And it does not make for a juicy tale to tell on the campaign trail.
Biden only admitted to the truth after the evidence against him was insurmountable.
Previously, Biden had repeatedly claimed that he was “arrested with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see him on Robbens Island.” Media outlets, including the New York Times, were unable to find any proof of this, and the arrest was never mentioned in Biden’s 2007 memoir. The U.N. ambassador at the time, Andrew Young, also said he was never detained by authorities with the former vice president.
Biden is a liar and unfit for office.
He can’t even keep his story straight or remember what lie he is telling.
It is clear that Biden will never be fit for office.
