Donald Trump is still battling to overturn what many Americans believe was a rigged election.
This effort took an unexpected turn.
And Joe Biden admitted Donald Trump’s win in the last place anyone ever expected.
Joe Biden staged a public photo op where doctors could inject the 78-year-old Biden with the coronavirus vaccine.
Biden looked ridiculous wearing two masks and after receiving the vaccine Biden begged the American people not to travel this Christmas season.
“If you don’t have to travel, don’t travel, it’s really important,” Biden claimed. “We’re still in the thick of this.”
The American people are tired of this scaremongering that the so-called “experts” don’t believe.
White House Coronavirus Task Force Coordinator Deborah Birx traveled to one of her vacation houses with three generations of family members from two households.
Many Americans rightly view this as someone with the most data and best expertise available on the pandemic traveling to gather with family members as evidence the so-called public health experts are overhyping the coronavirus and do not believe the panic they are communicating to the American people.
But Biden did make one unexpected admission during his vaccination event.
The former Vice President offered Donald Trump praise for Operation Warp Speed delivering two vaccines in record time.
“I think that the administration deserves some credit for getting this off the ground with Operation Warp Speed,” Biden told the press.
Of course, Biden tried to downplay the administration‘s role in the vaccine’s development as much as possible.
Biden is setting up a “heads-I-win-and-tails-you-lose” scenario.
That’s because if Biden does become President next year he will try to revise history to claim the vaccine as his own to get all the credit for the ensuing economic boom.
Fake news reporters will play along and pretend that the Trump administration had only a passing role in bringing an effective coronavirus vaccine to market.
But should the vaccine backfire as the distribution hits snags, large segments of the public refuse to take it or significant side effects develop, Biden will then pivot to blame the entire mess on the Trump administration and wash his hands clean of the vaccine.
Americans saw a preview of this during the campaign.
Biden, his running mate Kamala Harris and allies like New York Governor Andrew Cuomo spread anti-vaccine conspiracy theories because they were afraid the FDA would grant an emergency use authorization for one of the vaccines before the election and they did not want President Trump to reap the political rewards.
Now that the election is over Harris and Biden are claiming the vaccine is safe and taking it in public.
Even still, Joe Biden is trying to walk a fine line of giving the Trump administration just enough credit for the vaccine so if problems develop next year Biden can assign 100 percent of the blame to Trump, and if the vaccine works, Biden will claim the lion’s share of the credit.
