Joe Biden was a prime suspect of criminal conduct against the Trump administration.
But now he no longer has to fear.
Joe Biden breathed a personal sigh of relief as this serious investigation closed.
When he served as Barack Obama’s Vice President, Joe Biden appears to have “personally raised the idea” of investigating Michael Flynn.
Biden wanted Flynn to be investigated for violating the Logan Act during his phone calls with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, notes from disgraced ex-FBI Agent Peter Strzok show.
“According to Strzok’s notes, it appears that Vice President Biden personally raised the idea of the Logan Act,” defense lawyers Jesse Binnall and Sidney Powell wrote.
“That became an admitted pretext to investigate General Flynn.”
Biden was among the limited number of people who knew Flynn’s identity.
Biden made the request to learn Flynn’s identity by a process termed as “unmasking” on January 12, 2017.
On January 12, 2017, Washington Post columnist David Ignatius published Flynn’s identity and a leaked transcript of the call.
Biden wasn’t the only person who knew Flynn’s identity, as 39 Obama officials received the unmasking intelligence between Election Day 2016 and Jan. 31, 2017.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said on Fox News in 2018 that he believed these “leaks of classified documents” were “a violation of the law.”
It’s unconstitutional for the American government to spy on American subjects without a warrant.
The Obama administration was supposedly only trying to listen to then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and Flynn’s identity was supposed to be kept secret.
But now that Biden is President, all investigations into the illegal actions of the Obama administration will come to an end.
However, the Justice Department quietly closed without charges the investigation into who leaked the information, right as Biden came back into office.
“Michael Sherwin, the acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, signed off on closing the inquiry into the disclosure of the December 2016 calls between President Trump’s first national security adviser and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at the recommendation of prosecutors in Washington, D.C., a person familiar with the investigation told the New York Times. The report Tuesday, the final full day of Trump’s administration, said that the inquiry, code-named Operation Echo, looked into Obama administration officials with access to the sensitive contents of the discussions, but it ‘ultimately found no wrongdoing.’” The Washington Examiner reported.
A top member of the Obama administration gave classified information to the Washington Post.
There was clearly wrongdoing when the American government wiretaps the call of a political rival without warrant and then releases that information to the press to be used as a political weapon.
Now that the Democrats are in control of the government again they are suppressing the investigations that make them look bad.
