Americans were outraged to learn that the Chinese had sent a spy balloon into the United States.
But it appears like the balloon shot down over the Atlantic Ocean was just one of many.
And now, Joe Biden just found himself in the middle of yet another Chinese spy balloon scandal.
When Americans were told by the U.S. military that a Chinese spy balloon had entered American airspace in early February, many were outraged.
Making matters worse, it appears that China had managed to penetrate U.S. air defenses with their spy balloon several days before the object was finally detected over Montana.
And much of the blame for the embarrassing scandal was laid at the feet of Joe Biden.
But Biden isn’t just being criticized for allowing the Chinese to send a spy balloon over the continental U.S. without being detected until several days after it crossed over into American airspace.
After the balloon was first detected, Biden allowed the spycraft to cross the entire country uninterrupted until finally allowing it to be shot down in the Atlantic Ocean, more than a week after it had first entered the United States.
Not only did Biden fail to detect the balloon before it reached America, but he willingly allowed it to carry out its mission across the continental U.S.
And now, there are reports that this isn’t even the first time the Chinese managed to get a spy balloon into American airspace under Joe Biden’s watch.
Fox News reports, “A Chinese spy balloon crashed into the Pacific off the coast of Hawaii four months ago, U.S. officials say.
“The news comes after the U.S. military shot down a Chinese balloon off the coast of South Carolina on Saturday, seven days after it was allowed to drift across the continental United States.”
It was bad enough for Americans to learn that Joe Biden failed to defend the country against Chinese spying once, but the fact that there have apparently been other spy balloons flying over the United States means that Biden has found himself embroiled in a full-scale national security scandal.
What’s more, there are also reports that additional spy balloons have been detected in Latin America and in Canada, suggesting that the one initially spotted over Montana was simply one part of a larger spy balloon fleet launched by the Chinese.
And now, Joe Biden is trying to deflect from this revelation by blaming Donald Trump.
“Biden administration officials claimed that Chinese surveillance balloons also briefly transited the continental U.S. at least three times during the Trump administration,” adds Fox News.
For his part, Trump fired back at Biden for the allegations that China did the same thing while he was in office, saying that such a thing never happened.
“It never happened with us under the Trump administration, and if it did, we would have shot it down immediately,” Trump said when asked about Biden’s claim that Chinese spy balloons managed to cross into American airspace under his presidency. “It’s disinformation.”
