Democrats have finally realized that Joe Biden isn’t capable of serving as president.
And now it looks like they are pulling the plug on his campaign.
The nation is stunned after Democrats took Joe Biden off the ballot.
Usually, an incumbent president has the full support of their party, which provides funding and support to their campaign and does whatever is necessary to get them re-elected.
That certainly does not appear to be the case with Joe Biden. His approval ratings are underwater with his own base, and now the party infrastructure appears to be abandoning him as well.
There is no clearer example of that than what just happened in New Hampshire, which traditionally has been one of the most important states in the primary.
One would expect the New Hampshire Democratic Party to be 100% behind Joe Biden in his re-election campaign, but the reality has been quite the opposite – he may not even be on the ballot.
And it all comes back to a shortsighted decision Joe Biden made for political reasons that is now coming back to bite him in the long term.
According to Time Magazine, “Last December, President Joe Biden made clear he wanted South Carolina Democrats, the same voters who were crucial to him finding his footing in 2020, to launch the primary calendar in 2024.”
“Nine months later, New Hampshire Democrats are showing they love their first-in-the-nation status more than their President, who may wind up watching the New Hampshire primary as an observer without his name on the ballot. It is a quandary entirely of Biden’s own making—one that The D.C. Brief predicted back in early December. “
“Why does it matter if New Hampshire’s primary leapfrogs ahead and holds its starting position that dates to 1920? Because Biden pledged to only participate in primaries sanctioned by the national party. Anyone out of line would get his cold shoulder, and whoever won there would collect zero delegates. In fact, the rules package Biden prescribed penalizing candidates for even campaigning in scoundrel states. That means Biden wouldn’t even be able to file to have his name on a New Hampshire ballot if Democrats there refuse to allow South Carolina to hold its primary first.”
Biden threatened the New Hampshire Democratic Party, assuming that he had the political weight to throw around as president to get what he wanted.
Instead, the New Hampshire Democrats defied him. And it looks like he isn’t going to be on the ballot at all in New Hampshire.
This is a disaster for Biden, as it virtually guarantees that someone other than him will win the first Democrat primary in the nation. It could even open the door for a different person to be nominated.
Joe Biden made a reckless decision, and it could cost him his spot on the ballot.
