Even Democrats aren’t believing their own election propaganda anymore.
They know it will be tough for them to replace Trump.
Joe Biden learned one fact about the polls that made him despair.
During the 2016 election, Democrats were sure that Hillary Clinton was sure to win the election.
There was no doubt in the mainstream media’s mind that Hillary Clinton was sure to win.
All the polls said that Clinton was going to win and yet Clinton did not win.
Part of the reason Clinton did not win was because she did not get the turnout that Barack Obama inspired.
While Joe Biden may seem more likeable than Hillary Clinton, he has his own host of problems.
Karlyn Borysenko, a Democrat for 20 years, realized that her party was not ready to take on Trump after attending a Trump rally in February.
“People were genuinely enjoying themselves. Some were even dancing to music being played over the loudspeakers. It was so different than any other political event I had ever attended. Even the energy around Barack Obama in 2008 didn’t feel like this,” Borysenko wrote for Medium.
She saw the hope and optimism that Trump brought to everyday people while with “the Democrats, it was doom and gloom.”
She found that what the left media painted to her about Trump wasn’t an accurate picture because they’ve gotten caught in their own echo chamber.
CNN’s last poll had Biden leading over Trump by double digits but Democrats aren’t trusting the numbers.
Rep. Debbie Dingell, a Michigan Congresswoman, told voters not to trust those numbers.
“Some people say, ‘Oh, look at the numbers,'” Dingell said at an online event for Biden, according to The Detroit News. “I don’t believe these numbers.”
Dingell then went on to mention her premonitions during the 2016 election.
“Four years ago, many of you on this phone call thought that I was nuts,” she added. “I was in enough communities and heard enough people talking that I was very worried about the outcome of that election.”
Biden doesn’t inspire the amount of enthusiasm that Trump does and everyone knows it.
Even Biden himself doesn’t seem to have much enthusiasm left, and struggled in the Democratic primary answering questions on why he was better than other candidates.
“I think the Democrats have an ass-kicking coming to them in November, and I think most of them will be utterly shocked when it happens, because they’re existing in an echo chamber that is not reflective of the broader reality,” Borysenko finished her piece by saying.
The smarter Democrats already know that they are in trouble and are trying to change the rules like Nancy Pelosi promoting ballot harvesting.
Joe Biden has an uphill battle if he wants to win the presidency.
