Joe Biden is the oldest President of all time by a long shot and with advanced age comes increased medical difficulties.
While this is considered normal for someone in their 80s, the problem is Joe Biden is the President of the United States.
He can’t simply stay at home and enjoy his golden years. He has to traverse the globe and meet with powerful, and sometimes hostile, foreign leaders. And in the process, he cannot afford to look feeble or mentally vulnerable.
This is becoming harder and harder as his medical problems pile up.
And now the worst fears of many Americans have been confirmed. Joe Biden’s doctor has diagnosed him with a debilitating medical condition.
According to Fox News, “President Biden’s campaign team is on a mission to prevent him from tripping in public as the 80-year-old continues to struggle with a diagnosis of ‘significant spinal arthritis.’”
“The White House physician made the diagnosis earlier this year, and Biden has since had multiple public tripping incidents that have only compounded questions about his age. Now, his team has made a conscious effort to make him wear tennis shoes and limit stair climbs to prevent another embarrassing fall, Axios reported Tuesday.”
The fact Biden’s team has to constantly worry about him tripping and falling because of his physical frailty is something that should concern everybody.
“The goal for Biden’s team is to prevent the president from taking a spill in public during election season, something that could potentially damage his campaign,” Fox News reported.
The Biden campaign needs to worry about far more than the political impact of this. Joe Biden is in a position of immense power. If he can’t handle it, then he needs to make way for someone else.
But in spite of his issues, Democrats have been more than happy to keep rolling Biden out there like nothing is wrong.
