Joe Biden never expected his presidency to go so terribly wrong.
It’s clear just how much he’s ruined the economy.
Joe Biden heard ten words that sent him crashing down in waves of despair.
The economists predicted that April would be a month of economic recovery but they couldn’t have been more wrong.
The projections were off by more than 700,000 jobs as the economy lagged.
President Joe Biden had difficulty explaining the problem.
“Today, there’s more evidence our economy is moving in the right direction,” Biden claimed, adding: “This month’s job numbers show we’re on the right track.”
Donald Trump Jr. responded, writing on Twitter, “Biden isn’t the next FDR, he’s the next Jimmy Carter.”
Twitter highlighted the post, claiming that users were “confused” as if Trump Jr.’s tweet was a personal attack of character.
“People are confused by a Tweet from Donald Trump Jr., saying that President Biden isn’t the next FDR he’s the next Jimmy Carter,” the platform-publisher wrote, “given that former president Carter is a Nobel Peace Prize winner whose humanitarian record is largely respected.”
“Anyone who is supposedly ‘confused,’ by my below tweet should probably read the awful Biden job report out today,” Trump Jr. wrote. “Then take a peek at the rising prices of raw materials that we’re seeing and then finally google ‘Jimmy Carter inflation’….Things will make a lot more sense to you!”
One of the reasons that the economy is struggling is because employers are struggling to fill jobs while the government is paying people to stay at home.
Financial analyst Charles Payne tweeted: “Congratulations President Biden – you have achieved the progressive utopia. At least 7.4 million job openings but only 266,000 people got a job last month.”
The downward slump is clearly a result of Biden’s poor policy choices.
Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State and former CIA Director, tweeted: “The April jobs report illustrates what we already knew — our America First administration was bringing jobs back and building the strongest economy we’ve had in decades. Biden’s big government economy is crushing jobs.”
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy tweeted: “Today’s jobs report is a disappointment—just like President Biden’s plan to burden families with more taxes & more debt. While Dems trap people in a cycle of fear & pay them NOT to work, it’s clear the best thing to do is end the crisis-era policies & get Americans back to work.”
Former President Donald Trump went out of his way to protect manufacturing and to invest in minority areas leading to the lowest unemployment for minorities ever recorded.
But last month, black unemployment rates actually increased, 18,000 manufacturing jobs were lost, and women also suffered a net loss in jobs.
There are still 9.8 million unemployed Americans according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
