Joe Biden and the Democrats identified Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as one of the top threats to the left in 2024.
Biden spent the last year waging an unsuccessful war to derail DeSantis’ political momentum.
Now Joe Biden hit Ron DeSantis with a threat that Democrats will live to regret.
Ron DeSantis got the better of Joe Biden on COVID lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine passports.
The science showed DeSantis was correct to move on with normal life and reject all three as ineffective in slowing the spread of the virus.
DeSantis then exposed Joe Biden’s open borders agenda by flying 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard.
But DeSantis and Biden had to co-exist and work together in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.
Ian slammed Florida causing at least 84 deaths and 30 billion dollars in property damage.
Biden toured Florida with DeSantis, and Biden – for the first time in his presidency – tried to strike a unifying tone.
Biden claimed he and DeSantis put politics aside and only concerned themselves with rebuilding Florida.
“Today, we have one job and only one job, and that’s to make sure the people in Florida get everything they need to fully thoroughly recover,” Biden began.
“We’re here today because we wanted to tell you in person that we’re thinking of you and we’re not leaving. We’re not leaving until this gets done,” Biden added.
Biden also praised the job DeSantis did in seeing Florida through the Category Four hurricane.
“I think he’s done a good job,” Biden told reporters.
“We worked hand in glove. We have very different political philosophies, but we’ve worked hand in glove,” Biden continued.
“In dealing with this crisis, we’ve been in complete lockstep,” Biden added.
But a hot mic showed it was all a sham.
Biden taunted DeSantis in a brief conversation with the mayor of Fort Myers profanely cursing DeSantis, boasting that DeSantis would not dare fight with Biden in public now.
“No one f***s with a Biden. …You can’t argue with your brother outside the house,” Biden declared.
“That’s exactly right,” the mayor shot back.

Ron DeSantis displayed exemplary leadership during Ian.
DeSantis was in command of the facts and kept Floridians up to date on storm preparedness and recovery with up-to-date and accurate information.
Biden mocked DeSantis to feed a corporate media lie that because DeSantis acted like an actual adult and put politics aside to work with the Biden administration on storm recovery, DeSantis was somehow a fraud.
