Americans could not believe what they were seeing.
Joe Biden completely fell apart in public.
And Joe Biden horrified these military members with this jaw-dropping insult.
Joe Biden recently delivered the commencement address for the graduating class of the Coast Guard Academy.
The speech appeared to be going well until Joe Biden tried to deliver a famous quote about the Coast Guard that past commencement speakers such as Ronald Reagan and Dick Cheney delivered during their commencement addresses at the academy.
“The Coast Guard is that hard nucleus about which the Navy forms in time of war,” is the famous line.
It’s been met in the past with applause by the graduates when the commencement speaker utters the quote.
But Joe Biden bungled his way through the line and the crowd did not applaud as Biden expected.
That set Biden off as he insulted the graduates as “dull” and claimed they were out in the sun for too long.
“You are a really dull class. Come on, man. Is the sun getting to you? I would think you’d have an opportunity when I say that about the Navy to clap — to be here together…” Biden trailed off.
This outburst raised alarm bells.
The New York Times previously wrote a piece that many observers saw as the paper trying to cover for a clearly declining 78-year-old.
In the piece, the Times sought to describe Biden as a mentally vigorous man constantly peppering his aides with questions, and losing patience with anyone that tried to sound too clever.
Instead, anyone that’s seen Joe Biden in public saw the Times trying to cover up for a 78-year-old man that asked strange and off-topic questions during briefings and who would snap at them while becoming easily confused if his aides strayed from the simplest talking points.
“Those trips are often difficult for his advisers, who are peppered with sometimes obscure questions. Avoiding Mr. Biden’s ire during one of his decision-making seminars means not only going beyond the vague talking points that he will reject, but also steering clear of responses laced with acronyms or too much policy minutiae, which will prompt an outburst of frustration, often laced with profanity,” the Times wrote.
The Times tried to play Biden’s rantings off as cute, grandfatherly behavior.
But critics contend that anyone who’s observed Joe Biden for any length of time knows better than that.
Since he began his 2020 presidential campaign, Biden’s benefited from a friendly press corps.
Every Democrat always gets the benefit of the doubt from their ideological soulmates in the media.
However, the media’s attempts to portray Joe Biden as a super competent, hasn’t lost a step, modern-day FDR strays into North Korea and “Dear Leader” territory.
