The American people are not happy with Joe Biden’s failed withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Even though polls show the public supports the end of America’s longest war, the public is furious about Biden’s inept execution which caused the deaths of 13 U.S. soldiers and stranded at least 100 Americans – including 30 school children – behind enemy lines at the mercy of the Taliban and ISIS-K.
A Pew poll found 54 percent supported the withdrawal, but 71 percent believed Biden’s handling of the withdrawal was only fair or poor.
Contrary to what Biden’s advisors claimed, the American people’s negative judgement on the execution of the withdrawal is what stuck as a PBS/NPR/Marist poll found Biden’s approval number plunging to 43 percent.
There was more bad polling news on the way.
A new Rasmussen survey found 62 percent of likely voters support Congress investigating the botched withdrawal.

The survey found that 62 percent of likely U.S. voters believe Congress should investigate how the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was handled. Twenty-eight percent are against a congressional investigation and 10 percent are not sure.
Broken down by political affiliation, 80 percent of Republicans, 47 percent of Democrats, and 59 percent of unaffiliated voters think Congress should investigate the withdrawal, in which 13 U.S. troops were killed and hundreds of Americans were left behind.
Biden’s incoherent and demented decisions that caused the deaths of 13 American soldiers looks like it was a breaking point.
When the withdrawal first flew off the rails and the Taliban seized control of Kabul in one weekend, Democrat Senate Committee Chairman Mark Warner, Jack Reed and Robert Menendez all called for investigations into Joe Biden’s incompetent withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The American people’s growing furor over Joe Biden’s incompetence causing the death of 11 Marines, one soldier and one Navy corpsman combined with Biden’s sinking poll numbers may make an investigation inevitable.
Among the many questions the Biden administration must answer is why in a July 23 call with the Afghan president, Biden encouraged the Afghan president to lie about the status of the fight against the Taliban and paint a rosier picture in public than the facts on the ground warranted.
Did Joe Biden knowingly mislead the public and did Joe Biden’s public lies cause Americans to stay behind in Afghanistan not realizing the true danger they were in because Biden misled them about how close the Taliban was to taking over?
An investigation will produce answers to these questions.
And those answers could lead to Joe Biden’s impeachment.
