Joe Biden promised to pick a woman as his running mate.
After the Black Lives Matter riots in the wake of George Floyd’s death, it became a given that Biden would have to pick a black woman.
That narrowed the potential field of candidates considerably with California Senator Kamala Harris sitting at the top of the list as the most obvious choice.
But in recent days, a new contender is rising up the ranks to become a favorite and it is former Obama administration U.N. Ambassador, National Security Advisor, and Benghazi liar Susan Rice.
Rice’s past relationship with Biden and the fact that she would not overshadow a potential President Biden make Rice an appealing pick, and worry Kamala Harris’s supporters.

The chatter is loud enough that allies of others being eyed for the vice presidency are increasingly worried about Rice, especially because of her close ties to Biden, who, as Obama’s No. 2, had an office just steps away from hers.
Privately, some in California Sen. Kamala Harris’ world have indicated that Rice could be Harris’ most formidable rival for the vice presidential slot. Harris is widely considered the candidate with the best shot at being Biden’s running mate — she went through the press wringer when she ran against him in the primary and has decent name recognition. Like Rice, she would represent the first Black woman on a major-party presidential ticket.
Most Americans know Susan Rice for two scandals.
First, she appeared on five Sunday shows after the Benghazi terrorist attacks and lied to the American people that they were the result of a spontaneous protest over a YouTube video.
Rice told these lies because it would look awful for the Obama administration to be asleep at the switch on 9/11 and allow Islamic terrorists to murder four Americans including a U.S. Ambassador.
Second, Rice was a central player in the Russian collusion hoax.
Rice submitted unmasking requests for Trump officials and 15 minutes before the Obama administration left office, she sent an email to herself about a January 5 Oval Office meeting where then-President Obama told James Comey to do the investigation by the book after Joe Biden suggested using the Logan Act to frame Michael Flynn for colluding with the Russians.
Biden picking Rice would mean Barack Obama is truly pulling the strings.
Rice is an Obama loyalist and having his former Vice President act as a figurehead while Rice and the other ideologues run the show would ensure Obama maintains his iron grip on power in the Democrat Party.
