Joe Biden began feuding with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis last year.
Now after losing fight after fight with DeSantis, Biden is escalating his conflict with DeSantis in a sickening way.
Joe Biden refuses to say one thing about Ron DeSantis that will leave you red with rage.
After the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan Joe Biden tried to reboot his flailing presidency by picking a fight with DeSantis over DeSantis banning vaccine mandates and forcing children to wear masks in schools.
Then DeSantis got the better of Biden by exposing Biden’s open border agenda by flying 50 illegal aliens to the liberal vacation haven of Martha’s Vineyard.
Rich liberal residents of Martha’s Vineyard did not want to live with the consequences of Biden’s illegal alien invasion and the National Guard showed inside of 48 hours to deport the illegal aliens to a military base.
Democrats are clearly worried about DeSantis as a 2024 contender.
And as Hurricane Ian ravaged Florida DeSantis put politics aside to work with the administration on disaster response.
But Biden seized on the opportunity to take the low road and try and hurt DeSantis politically.
DeSantis complimented the Biden administration on providing resources to the state.
CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre if Biden would return the praise for DeSantis’ superb handling of the hurricane.
“Yesterday President Biden said that Gov. DeSantis … complimented him and praised the immediate response from the federal government,” Collins asked at a press briefing. “Is that a sentiment that the president returns? Does the president think Gov. DeSantis has handled the response to this well so far?”
“He complimented me. He thanked me for the immediate response we had. He told me how much he appreciated it, said he was extremely happy with what was going on,” Biden declared during an event at FEMA headquarters. “This is not about whether or — anything having to do with our disagreements politically. This is about saving people’s lives, homes, and businesses.”
Jean-Pierre refused to say DeSantis did a good job in overseeing the hurricane response.
“I can’t speak to the specifics of a private conversation,” Jean-Pierre added that “we don’t want to make this about politics.
“They are going to continue to coordinate. They are going to continue to have conversations,” Jean-Pierre continued, “they had, I believe, three conversations in just a week’s time about what they can do to help the communities in Florida.
“But I don’t want to get into politics here,” Jean-Pierre added.
Collins was not about to let that dodge go.
“I’m not asking about politics, I’m just asking if the president thinks that Governor DeSantis has done a good job so far,” Collins asked.
Jean-Pierre ducked again.
“I’m not going to get into particulars of who’s doing a good job and … who could do a better job, I should say,” Jean-Pierre concluded.
Joe Biden won’t acknowledge the outstanding job Ron DeSantis did in overseeing Florida’s response to Hurricane Ian because Biden’s handlers are still holding out hope the corporate press can fabricate a narrative that DeSantis botched the recovery so the media can do to DeSantis what liberal activist reporters did to George W. Bush following Hurricane Katrina.
