Joe Biden’s speech exposed how badly he’s falling apart.
His attempt to deceive the American people was full of errors.
Joe Biden fumbled badly in his State of the Union address filled with slurs and lies.
Half of Americans say they are worse off financially than they were a year ago, a Gallup poll released Wednesday showed.
Yet President Joe Biden ignored the reality that most Americans are facing and instead tried to convince Americans that they are in fact better off since he became president in a speech filled with notable errors.
Biden claimed that he created 12 million jobs in just two years, despite the fact that a majority of those jobs were just people forced out of the workforce by the pandemic. Even PolitiFact called him out on it.
He claimed that he’s made inflation lower despite the costs of living rising significantly under his presidency.
Biden then mentioned his plan to have the “wealthiest and the biggest corporations” pay their “fair share” of 15% to save the country from climate change.
“The climate crisis doesn’t care if your state is red or blue. It is an existential threat. We have an obligation to our children and grandchildren to confront it. I’m proud of how America is at last stepping up to the challenge,” Biden said, adding that he wants the wealthy to pay for “more” investments “in our future.”
When Biden talked about China he wasn’t willing to mention the balloon directly.
“I am committed to work with China where it can advance American interests and benefit the world,” Biden said, per prepared remarks. “But make no mistake: as we made clear last week, if China’s threatens our sovereignty, we will act to protect our country. And we did.”
Biden later went off-script to have a strange moment when talking about Xi Jinping and China.
“Autocracies have grown weaker, not stronger. Name me a world leader who changed places with Xi Jinping. NAME ME ONE! NAME ME ONE!” Biden said.
“I know the lies are coming so fast and so furiously and so incoherently that it’s hard to keep track, but did he just claim his wife is a full-time teacher?” author and commentator Mollie Hemingway tweeted.
“Is anyone else having trouble understanding exactly what he’s trying to say?” she tweeted. “It’s a weird combo of mumbling and speed-reading. I can’t quite make it out. Also now he’s yelling.”
Then Hemingway added, “I don’t have any strong feelings about this speech because thus far I have been unable to understand much of it. This whole spectacle is really sad and it makes me feel very uncomfortable.”
