In the current era, Democrats are more insane than they have ever been.
They have gone so far to the left that Joe Biden might be too moderate to win.
And Joe Biden said one thing that means a top Democrat will destroy him.
While Joe Biden is considerably to the left of Donald Trump, he is far from the furthest left on the field of Democrats running for president currently.
In fact, that is the main criticism that many have of him.
He has been in government for a very long time and shifted positions time and time again.
And that’s not what many Democrats want currently.
They want somebody radically to the left to be the opposite of President Trump.
And at a recent fundraising for some of the biggest elites in New York, he proved that isn’t him.
The fundraiser was $2,800 to get in and included some of New York’s wealthiest.
At the fundraiser, Biden had a friendly tone with those in attendance and made certain to them that his presidency will cause no significant changes to their lives.
This is a big shift from the messaging of leading Democrats like Bernie Sanders who constantly demonize the rich.
To the contrary, Biden had heaps of praise for them at the event.
“Remember I got in trouble with some of the people on my team, on the Democratic side,” Biden said, according to The Hill. “Because I said, ‘You know what I’ve found is rich people are just as patriotic as poor people.’ Not a joke. I mean, we may not want to demonize anybody who has made money.”
This is not an overly controversial thing to say for most of the general populace.
Most Americans look up to the rich as people to emulate as most are strong success stories that are a testament to the American dream.
But to the far-left, they are everything wrong with the world.
In contrast, Bernie Sanders attacks the rich, saying that they are “never satisfied with what they have” and always “want more, more and more.”
The statement from Sanders shows just how much different his supporters think than how Joe Biden thinks.
And statements like this give Sanders what he needs to take aim at Biden, who is his biggest competitor in the race.
You can expect Sanders to go after Biden for statements like this and for his past voting record from his decades in the Senate.
But it is ironic that Sanders is the “warrior” standing up against the rich, considering that he himself is quite wealthy.
The Vermont Senator owns two homes and brings in millions of dollars.
By all accounts, he is in the one percent that he loves to attack.
So blasting the rich may hurt Biden, but it could ultimately come back to bite Sanders down the road.
