When Joe Biden fell down his approval ratings were already sinking to “break glass in case of emergency” levels.
A new CIVIQS poll found Biden underwater in 48 states and his approval rating crashing to a record-low of 32 percent.
“President Joe Biden is underwater in 48 states — including the typically dark blue California and his home state of Delaware — while his approval rating is down to the lowest in his presidency at only 32 percent approval and 57 percent disapproval, according to the CIVIQS rolling job-approval average as of Sunday,” Breitbart reports.
Biden falling down came one week after The New York Times published an article where top Democrats expressed unease with Joe Biden running for re-election due to his age.
Former Barack Obama chief strategist David Axelrod told the Times that Biden being 86 at the end of a potential second term would be a major issue in a 2024 election.
Politics has a funny way of causing Americans to view a politician through the prism of the narrative surrounding that official.
With Biden’s approval sinking to 32 percent and other polls showing a plurality of Americans think Joe Biden is not mentally fit to be president, Biden falling off his bike will now be viewed as confirmation of Biden’s incompetence and senility by tens of millions of Americans.
