The mainstream media chose to ignore the dark side of Joe Biden’s character.
Biden never had to answer for the alleged crimes he committed.
Joe Biden’s inauguration was unspeakably hard for this victim to watch.
The Democrats had liked to claim that the Democrats stand on the right side of history.
However, movements like the “Me Too” movement or Black Lives Matter aren’t actually being used to improve America, they’re a tool that the Democratic leadership use to attack those who disagree with their policies.
In 2018 Biden said “women should be believed” during the hearings for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
However, there was not even basic accountability for Joe Biden when former staffer Tara Reade accused Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993.
“Women have a right to tell their story, and reporters have an obligation to rigorously vet those claims. We encourage them to do so, because these accusations are false,” Kate Bedingfield, deputy campaign manager and communications director for the Biden campaign said.
But Biden’s Senate records weren’t even checked to check Reade’s claim, instead choosing to unquestioningly believe him.
He denied Reade’s claims in one interview; after that, the mainstream media and Democrats dropped the subject.
Allegations from a former staffer, that she was digitally raped, deserve to be investigated at the very least.
But the Democrats cared more about protecting Biden than finding out the truth.
Reade says that watching the inauguration was “exceptionally hard.”
“Yesterday was exceptionally hard on many levels, because the media, certain media outlets made it so clear that I was to be smeared, ignored, and erased. And they were pretty successful in doing so,” Reade told Fox News on Thursday.
“To watch this powerful man who I’ve worked for, who I had admired when I first worked for him and then later became horrified of what he did, to watch him ascend to the most powerful job in the world. I can’t really describe the feeling except I keep wanting to wake up from a nightmare.”
Reade also blamed Democrats for the way they treated her claims.
“The Democratic Party continues to be complicit with sexual misconduct. It will only shine a light on it when it’s a Republican or someone else,” Reade said. “And until sexual misconduct is seen as non-partisan, institutionalized rape culture will stay in place and powerful men will continue to be able to get away with crimes. And not only get away with it but be rewarded with more power.”
Democrats and Republicans should be held to the same standards.
Until that happens, alleged victims who speak out against Democrats will have no recourse for justice.
