The 2020 presidential campaign was already upended by the coronavirus pandemic.
Now a second bombshell just dropped.
And Joe Biden’s sex scandal just exploded because of this giant mistake.
Former Joe Biden staffer Tara Reade stepped forward with credible allegations that Joe Biden allegedly sexually assaulted her in 1993.
The fake news media spent weeks ignoring Reade’s allegations.
But when the New York Times finally reported on Reade’s allegations, it became clear why there was such radio silence in the fake news media.
So-called reporters – the vast majority who work on behalf of the Democrat Party – were waiting for the Times to publish their “official” account of the allegations so the fake news media could then say the charges were “debunked.”
The Times wrote that:
“Soon after Ms. Reade made the new allegation, in a podcast interview released on March 25, The Times began reporting on her account and seeking corroboration through interviews, documents and other sources. The Times interviewed Ms. Reade on multiple days over hours, as well as those she told about Mr. Biden’s behavior and other friends. The Times has also interviewed lawyers who spoke to Ms. Reade about her allegation; nearly two dozen people who worked with Mr. Biden during the early 1990s, including many who worked with Ms. Reade; and the other seven women who criticized Mr. Biden last year, to discuss their experiences with him.”
But the Times also was forced to admit that Reade told friends at the time and over the years about what Biden did to her which provided corroborating witnesses.
“A friend said Tara Reade told her the details of the allegation at the time, and another friend and a brother of Reade’s said she told them over the years about a traumatic sexual incident involving Biden,” the Times tweeted.
But the biggest development in the story was a line where the Times reporters interviewed the other women who previously came forward right before Biden entered the campaign and stated that Biden made them feel uncomfortable with uninvited kissing, groping and hugging.
“The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable,” the Times wrote.
Women saying there was kissing, hugging and touching that made them feel uncomfortable is the definition of sexual harassment.
The Times quickly realized their error and stealth-edited the story to erase the paper putting on the record that Biden was guilty of sexual harassment.
However, that only drew the attention of media critics who blasted the Times for working on behalf of the Biden campaign to erase women making credible claims against Biden.
The Times cover-up backfired because the story went viral on social media and far more people saw screenshots of the original Times story than if the Times had left the story unedited.
