Joe Biden’s Justice Department is knee-deep in one scandal after another.
But now, the Department’s reputation just took a thrashing like never before.
And it’s all because of one outrageous Hunter Biden scandal that just went public.
If there were ever any doubts that Joe Biden has turned large portions of the federal government into personal tools for his own quest for power, those questions have now been answered after it was revealed that the Justice Department was just implicated in one massive scandal to defend Hunter Biden.
The news drops at a time when the Justice Department and the FBI have both come under sustained criticism from conservatives, who have pointed out a long trend of political abuses stemming from federal agents who have used their position of power and authority to act on political biases in favor of left-wing politicians in recent years.
From the Department of Justice’s foray into the Left’s attempt to label parents at school board meetings as “domestic terrorists,” to the FBI’s decision to raid Donald Trump’s house last year, the federal law enforcement apparatus has been completely co-opted by partisan Democrats in recent years.
And now, even more questions about the Department of Justice’s political leanings are being raised after one scandal tied the DOJ to an attempt to shield Hunter Biden from critics.
The Washington Examiner reports, “The Justice Department is withholding 400 documents related to Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings, a Colorado lawyer claims.
“Kevin Evans sued the Justice Department in March after it failed to comply with his Freedom of Information Act request for documents pertaining to ‘any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form between President Biden’s son Hunter and brother Jim Biden and China, Russia or Ukraine.’”
The fact that Joe Biden’s Justice Department is now being implicated in a plot to protect Hunter Biden from even more trouble than he’s already found himself in is astonishing.
It only adds even more evidence to the charge that Democrats have usurped federal law enforcement agencies for their own political purposes.
“Mr. Evans told the Daily Mail that the department’s lawyers first admitted to having at least 400 documents potentially related to his request, but now claim they can ‘neither confirm nor deny’ that the documents exist,” adds the Washington Examiner.
With the Department of Justice playing hardball over the existence of additional documents tied to the ongoing Hunter Biden scandal, it’s clear that Hunter Biden is beginning to drag entire federal agencies down with him.
In doing so, he’s helping to tarnish the reputation of numerous federal law enforcement agencies, as well as Joe Biden’s own political standing.
And with the 2024 election cycle about to heat up, it’s only a matter of time until Joe Biden himself is slammed on the campaign trail for what the Department of Justice is doing.
