Democrats hold their breath every time Kamala Harris speaks in an off-the-cuff setting.
There is a very good reason that polls show Harris is the most unpopular Vice President in American history.
And now Kamala Harris spilled the one secret that will have Democrats shaking their heads in rage.
Democrats tried to maintain the fiction that Joe Biden had nothing to do with the criminal indictments against Donald Trump.
Even though the New York Times reported that Biden had made it clear to his closest confidants that Trump deserved jail time, and that Attorney General Merrick Garland needed to move quicker on indicting his likely 2024 opponent, the media parroted the 1984-level propaganda that Joe Biden was somehow not involved in the decision for the Biden Justice Department to file two separate indictments totaling 44 criminal charges against Donald Trump.
And then Kamala Harris blew that cover story out of the water in just one interview.
While traveling to Indonesia for a summit – Democrats hoped getting Kamala Harris as far away from D.C. and the campaign trail as possible would limit her ability to induce self-inflicted political wounds – Harris broke the Biden administration code-of-silence on Trump’s indictments.
Harris told the Associated Press that Donald Trump deserved to face trial, get convicted, and serve a prison sentence for contesting the results of the 2020 election.
“I spent the majority of my career as a prosecutor,” Harris revealed in the Associated Press. “I believe that people should be held accountable under the law. And when they break the law, there should be accountability.”
Harris then confirmed that the Biden administration planned to stage-show trials in heavily Democrat jurisdictions where a Democrat judge and an all-Democrat jury would convict Donald Trump on the say-so of their ideological ally and Democrat prosecutor.
“Everyone has their right to their day in court. But absolutely people should be held accountable,” Harris continued.
“Let the evidence, the facts, take it where it may,” Harris added.
Polls show the American people understand how unfair the lawfare Joe Biden waged against Donald Trump has been.
An Emerson poll of D.C. residents – the jury poll for the indictment against Trump for contesting the 2020 election – found that 64 percent of residents believe Trump is guilty, while just 8 percent think Trump is innocent.
The rest were undecided.
That means when Trump goes to trial, Jack Smith is picking jurors from a poll of partisans who already made up their mind on Trump’s guilt without even hearing the evidence.
Americans understand Democrats are rigging a kangaroo court against Trump.
That’s why Emerson also found in their polling that the American people dismissed the indictments and judged Trump and Biden on the merits of their term in office – which is why Trump led Biden 46 to 44 percent.
A Wall Street Journal poll backed up that finding – as Americans viewed Trump as a more accomplished president by an 11-point margin.
Weaponizing the justice system was Joe Biden’s fallback plan to win a second term.
It’s failing because of how transparently obvious it was that Joe Biden enlisted his prosecutors, Attorney General, and ideologically aligned judges to try and accomplish what Democrats worried Biden could not do at the ballot box – and that is to stop Donald Trump from winning a second term.
