Democrats are trying to figure out a way to deploy Kamala Harris in a politically useful fashion.
They continue to come up empty-handed.
And now Kamala Harris got called one name that will make Democrats blush.
In an interview on “Meet the Press” friendly liberal activist Chuck Todd teed up Harris to try and address the biggest political liability facing the Biden administration – the record-level illegal alien invasion at the southern border.
Harris absurdly claimed the border was secure.
“I think that there is no question that we have to do what the president and I asked Congress to do, the first request we made: pass a bill to create a pathway to citizenship,” Harris stated. “The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed.”
Todd gave her a chance to clean up that mess telling Harris that two million illegal aliens attempted to enter America.
“We’re going to have 2 million people cross this border for the first time ever. You’re confident this border’s secure?” Todd asked.
Harris doubled down on the lie that the border is secure.
“We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration,” Harris shot back. “But there are still a lot of problems that we are trying to fix given the deterioration that happened over the last four years. We also have to put into place a law and a plan for a pathway for citizenship for the millions of people who are here and are prepared to do what is legally required to gain citizenship.”
Border Patrol agents expressed astonishment that Harris would lie like that on national television.
One Border Patrol agent told Fox News Digital that around 2.5 million illegal aliens would end up trying to invade America in 2022 – with records for border crossings being set on a daily basis – meaning the border was nowhere near secure.
“Well, since we have apprehended over 2 million aliens so far this year, which is a record, and the year is not over, and we set a single-day apprehension record just last week, I believe, that does not exactly scream that our borders are secure,” the agent told Fox News Digital.
“It was over 8,000 aliens for one day. That’s what we caught not what we did not see or the gotaways,” the Border Patrol agent continued.
A second Border Patrol agent slammed Harris as “delusional” for lying to the public about the border being secure saying in a 13-year career the agent had never seen the border so porous.
“This quote is more of the same old word salad responses that this vice president gives,” the second agent told Fox News Digital. “She may be more delusional than [White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre]. In my 13 years, the border was never more secure than it was after President Trump finally had his policies put in place. The root cause of this invasion is this administration and handing out undeserved citizenship will continue to call in more illegal aliens, terrorists and MS-13 gang members.”
One of Joe Biden’s first orders in office was to halt construction on the border wall.
Biden then successfully ended the “Remain in Mexico” protocols – implemented by Trump to stop catch and release – and attempted to end Title 42 – the pandemic-era regulation allowing quick expulsion of illegal aliens falsely claiming asylum.
The results of Biden’s support for the illegal alien invasion are obvious for all to see.

Democrats are terrified of the political fallout from Joe Biden’s pro-open borders agenda.
And that’s why Kamala Harris tried to gaslight the nation into thinking the border was secure.
But the Border Patrol agents on the ground called her out for those lies.
