Kamala Harris is finally paying the price for years of backing open borders policies and doing nothing to solve the growing immigration crisis on America’s southern border.
For years, Harris believed she could get away with coming across as altruistic by backing open borders policies, all while forcing states like Texas to carry the burdens of the very policies she would then brag about to her own left-wing base.
And now, Texas is firing back with one humiliating move that left Harris speechless.
The Hill reports, “Democrats are blasting the busing of migrants to Vice President Harris’s Washington, D.C., residence on Christmas Eve, taking aim at Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), whom they blame for dropping the groups off in below-freezing temperatures on a holiday.
“The incident was the latest salvo in a months-long effort by Abbott and other Republican governors to urge the Biden administration to bolster its immigration policy and wasn’t the first time migrants have been sent to the vice president’s home. But it will likely intensify the feud over immigration, especially as Title 42 hangs in the balance.”
The Left wants to blame Texas’s governor for supposedly dumping off illegal immigrants in “below-freezing temperatures on a holiday,” but what they intentionally leave out of the story is that these migrants willingly boarded buses to Washington, D.C.
No one was forced to travel to Kamala Harris’s house. These illegal immigrants willingly traveled there because cities like Washington are ultra-liberal strongholds that pat themselves on the back for being “tolerant” and “accepting” of illegal immigrants while doing absolutely nothing to help them.
But the woke virtue signaling the Left has perpetuated on this issue for decades is finally coming to an end, as liberal bastions like Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, and even Martha’s Vineyard are all being taken to task for not helping to care for the very crisis politicians from these cities have helped to perpetuate.
Of almost all the political fights that exist, illegal immigration is one where the Left has taken all the credit while handling none of the burden.
And by dropping off busloads of illegal immigrants to cities like Washington, D.C., Texas is announcing to the rest of the country that those days are over.
“[These illegal immigrants] were processed and released by the federal government, who are dumping them at historic levels in Texas border towns like El Paso, which recently declared a state of emergency because of the Biden-made crisis,” said Governor Abbott’s office in a statement made to the press.
“Instead of their hypocritical complaints about Texas providing much-needed relief to our overrun and overwhelmed border communities, President Biden and Border Czar Harris need to step up and do their jobs to secure the border—something they continue failing to do. The White House is full of a bunch of hypocrites.”
