Kamala Harris is the future of the Democrat Party.
Many believe Harris will replace Joe Biden in the 2024 election.
But now Kamala Harris took a trip to the hospital after this big health scare.
Fifty-eight Texas state House Democrats fled Texas to block Republicans from passing an election integrity bill that would enhance voter ID laws, ban 24-hours-a-day drive-through voting, and make it a criminal offense to mail unsolicited ballots to voters.
This trip became a political fiasco when five Texas Democrats – all of whom are fully vaccinated – contracted the coronavirus.
A fiasco almost became a tragedy when Kamala Harris rushed to Walter Reed Medical Center on Sunday morning, five days after meeting with the Texas Democrats that tested positive for the coronavirus.
The administration claimed the visit was “routine.”
But many Americans questioned how “routine” a Sunday morning doctor’s visit could really be.
Harris spokeswoman Symone Sanders stated that Harris did not come into close contact with the Democrats that tested positive for the coronavirus, and that the timing of the positive tests left Harris in the clear.
“Based on the timeline of these positive tests, it was determined the Vice President and her staff present at the meeting were not at risk of exposure because they were not in close contact with those who tested positive and therefore do not need to be tested or quarantined,” Sanders stated.
House Democratic Caucus Chairman Representative Chris Turner defended the Democrats ̶ a viral photo showed them all violating Joe Biden’s executive order and not wearing masks on a private plane.
“The House Democratic Caucus is following all CDC guidance and protocols,” Representative Turner said. “This is a sober reminder that COVID is still with us, and though vaccinations offer tremendous protection, we still must take necessary precautions. We are in touch with public health experts in Texas to provide additional guidance. Our caucus will follow all recommendations from public health experts as we continue our work.”
But the next day Jen Psaki confirmed that Harris took a COVID test – even though she is fully vaccinated – and that Harris – thankfully – tested negative for coronavirus.
“We take these precautions incredibly seriously and abide by the health, the guidance of our health and medical experts,” Psaki began. “We, of course, hope everybody abides by public health guidelines.”
“That’s what we certainly recommend, but the vice president — what’s important for everybody to know — is the vice president was tested. She, of course, takes these precautions seriously and we would follow any advice or public health officials give us,” Psaki added.
Given that Harris took a COVID test, many Americans are wondering why the White House was so misleading about Harris’ trip to the hospital.
