Kamala Harris’s self-destructive behavior is getting completely out of hand.
She’s becoming a serious problem for the Democrats.
Kamala Harris was absolutely ripped apart by this brutal takedown.
The job of vice president isn’t a hard job for the most part; besides being a tie-breaking vote for the Senate the vice presidents have no real power.
Yet despite the limited scope of the job Kamala Harris has managed to dismally fail.
Bill Maher, host of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” said that President Joe Biden simply needs to make sure Harris never gets the presidency.
“I’ll give you another reason why, a good reason why, Biden shouldn’t run: the Kamala problem,” Maher said. “Now, I like Kamala Harris, but for whatever reason, it just didn’t work out, okay? I think she would make a great president of the University of Santa Barbara here in California. But if Joe doesn’t run, then we don’t have to worry about her running, because it’s hard to get rid of your running mate that you ran with last time. But if you don’t run, then that kind of goes out with you.”
Maher added, “Let me put it another way. Couldn’t Biden wind up doing a kind of Ruth Bader Ginsburg thing where he stays on a little too long and takes down the whole thing with him?
“That’s what I worry about,” he added.
When Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) claimed that Biden was in “good health,” Maher responded, “Oh come on. He keeps saying his son was killed in Iraq and he wasn’t.”
This comes as some Democrats are openly calling for Biden to run again.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said on Sunday that Biden should run for re-election in 2024 while speaking on ABC’s “This Week” during an interview with host George Stephanopoulos.
“President Biden has been a great president for our country,” said Pelosi. “Over 10 million jobs under his leadership. Working with the private sector, of course. He has just done so many things that are so great.
“He’s put money in people’s pockets, vaccines in their arms, children back to school, people back to work, for starters, creating 10 million jobs,” she continued. “He has made America independent by passing the CHIPS bill that says we’re no longer reliant on those who would withhold products that enable us to manufacture in our country. The [Inflation Reduction Act]… $368 billion in good-paying green jobs, clean air, clean water for our children, national security issue to stop migrations and competition for habitat and food, as well as honoring our responsibility to future generations. The PACT Act, honoring our veterans, the bipartisan infrastructure bill, all of it with justice, with equity, with inclusiveness, with diversity, taking us to a new place. He has been a great president and he has a great record to run on.”
