Barack Obama hit the campaign trail in Arizona to try and derail Republican gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake’s momentum.
Obama tore into Lake with grim desperation.
But Kari Lake hit Barack Obama with one truth bomb that will have Democrats begging for mercy.
Obama stuck to the Democrats’ confused messaging script by claiming if a Republican candidate won a free and fair election then democracy in America as everyone knew it would come to an end on the spot.
“Democracy as we know it may not survive in Arizona,” Obama declared.
“That’s not an exaggeration,” Obama ranted. “That is a fact.”
This argument never really makes any sense.
Obama and the Democrats are arguing that for democracy to survive their party must be given complete power from the federal to state level and that the American people can’t really choose between two parties because if they vote for the Republicans, Democrats will claim democracy died.
But Kari Lake already shut down Obama’s nonsensical complaint in an interview with ABC where she committed to accepting the results of a free and honest election.
“I will accept the results of this election if we have a fair, honest and transparent election. Absolutely. 100 percent,” Lake explained.
During his remarks, Obama tried to contrast himself – and by extension the entire Democrat Party – as faithful keepers of democracy compared to the “election deniers” in the Republican Party.
“When Donald Trump won, I stayed up till 3 in the morning so I could offer a congratulatory call to somebody who opposed everything I stood for, but I believed in the peaceful transfer of power,” Obama stated. “I sat at his inauguration. We welcomed him into the White House. Because that’s what America’s supposed to be about. Did we forget that? Did that only apply to one side?”
This – of course – is a lie.
Democrats invented election denialism by falsely claiming that the Supreme Court stole the 2000 election for George W. Bush, objecting to the results of the 2004 election based on the crackpot theory voting machines changed the outcome in Ohio, and fabricating a James Bond-style plot between Donald Trump and the Russians to hijack democracy in 2016.
Democrats are even falsely claiming elections that haven’t even happened yet are stolen.
Joe Biden questioned the 2022 election by claiming that unless Congress passed legislation to mandate universal mail-in voting and ballot harvesting in all 50 states no one could accept the election as legitimate.
“Well, it all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election. … I think if, in fact – no matter how hard they make it for minorities to vote, I think you’re going to see them willing to stand in line and – and defy the attempt to keep them from being able to vote. I think you’re going to see the people who they’re trying to keep from being able to show up, showing up and making the sacrifice that needs to make in order to change the law back to what it should be,” Biden said back in January.
More recently Hillary Clinton skipped ahead and preemptively accused Donald Trump and the Republicans of putting a plot in motion to steal the presidency in 2024.
“I know we’re all focused on the 2022 midterm elections, and they are incredibly important, but we also have to look ahead because, you know what, our opponents certainly are. Right-wing extremists already have a plan to literally steal the next presidential election, and they’re not making a secret of it,” Clinton declared.
Democrats have not accepted a Republican as legitimate in a presidential election since 1988.
That’s why the “election denier” smear the Democrats and their tag team partners in the corporate media invented collapsed so quickly.
