Brett Kavanaugh has had a bad few weeks.
Allegations of sexual assault nearly sank his Supreme Court confirmation.
But he finally just got the news he’s been waiting for.
Accusations Against Kavanaugh
Three different women have come out with accusations against Brett Kavanaugh.
The main accusation, coming from Christine Blasey Ford is for attempted rape.
One other woman claims he exposed himself to her.
The third accuser claims she saw him at “gang rape parties.”
Media outlets like CNN are trotting them out like victims.
They aren’t even willing to consider that Kavanaugh may be innocent.
But as it turns out, the American people aren’t so certain.
A new poll shows that 60 percent of voters want Kavanaugh confirmed if the FBI doesn’t find any evidence against him.
And as it looks now, they almost certainly won’t uncover anything.
Ford has already testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Her testimony didn’t prove anything besides the fact that she believes Kavanaugh attempted to rape her.
None of the people she claims as witnesses are backing her story though.
So it is just her word against Kavanaugh.
Unless the FBI uncovers something nobody else knows about it will stay that way.
Democrats Won’t Stop Trying To Harm Kavanaugh
But even if the FBI finds nothing, Democrats will continue pushing on.
They are already attempting to charge Kavanaugh with perjury.
In what would be one of the dirtiest political tricks in history, they will try to use his testimony against him.
Looking at every word he said with a fine tooth comb, they will try to find a lie.
That’s why they are focusing on things as mundane as his drinking habits.
Instead of proving he tried to rape anyone, they will try to prove he drank more than he put on in his testimony.
Or that he accidentally misrepresented a fact.
This is something that the deep state does regularly.
It’s how they charged former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
Instead of proving he did anything illegal, they charged him for lying to the FBI.
It’s About Stopping Trump More Than Kavanaugh
In the end, it’s about stopping President Trump from making a major win so close to the midterm elections.
Being nominated by President Trump is what made him a target.
Democrats have long protected those within their own party accused of sexual misconduct.
Bill Clinton has multiple credible sexual assault allegations waged against him.
But Democrats aren’t willing to talk about those.
That’s because Clinton is an ally to them.
He is a long-time Democrat leader.
If his accusations were taken seriously he would go down in flames.
And his wife’s 2016 election likely would have as well.
Being a rapist isn’t a good look for anybody.
But Kavanaugh is in a different situation.
He was already facing harsh attacks from Democrats before the accusations dropped.
They were claiming his confirmation would lead towards people dying in the streets.
So it’s no surprise they are willing to go to such extremes to stop him.
