Brett Kavanaugh is in the fight of his life.
And if he wins he will become a Justice on the Supreme Court.
But he just got the worst news possible.
Three Accusers Rock Kavanaugh’s Confirmation Fight
Three different women have come out with accusations against Brett Kavanaugh.
The main accusation, coming from Christine Blasey Ford is for attempted rape.
One other woman claims he exposed himself to her.
The third accuser claims she saw him at “gang rape parties.”
Media outlets like CNN are trotting them out like victims.
They aren’t even willing to consider that Kavanaugh may be innocent.
It doesn’t matter that there is no evidence backing the accusations.
The FBI even investigated finding no proof.
But despite all of this, Democrats are still working overtime to stop him.
And Kavanaugh just got some terrible news.
A Democrat Delivers Terrible News About Kavanaugh
Sen. Heidi Heitkamp is in a difficult spot.
She’s a Democrat for one.
But she also represents North Dakota.
North Dakota is very conservative and supports President Trump.
So in order to ensure her re-election, she can’t go too far to the left.
That’s why she was one of the predicted swing votes for Kavanaugh.
It is in her favor to support Kavanaugh with her re-election coming up in November.
But voting yes also angers her Democrat supporters.
So until today, nobody knew how she would vote.
And she chose to vote no on a procedural vote, along with announcing she will vote no on the main confirmation vote.
This means that Kavanaugh needs to fight even harder for other swing votes.
He has secured the vote of Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, who is a Democrat.
Along with that, Sen. Jeff Flake has signaled he will support him.
But if Flake or Manchin go back on their word, his confirmation is put into doubt.
Kavanaugh’s Final Vote
With the final confirmation vote coming up for Kavanaugh, things are looking good.
But things could quickly take a wrong turn.
If this confirmation process proves anything it’s that there’s no way to be sure of anything.
Kavanaugh likely would have already been confirmed this week if it weren’t for a surprising move from Jeff Flake.
Because of a confrontation by protesters in an elevator, he nearly switched his committee vote.
And he forced an FBI investigation.
That makes it possible that something like that could happen again.
With Flake not facing re-election, anything can happen.
Democrats are targeting him heavily.
They see him as somebody that can turn.
So while things are looking good for Kavanaugh, that could quickly change.
If he is able to be blocked, there is no telling what Democrats will do to the next nominee.
But regardless, Democrats have taken a new low.
And Republicans should expect further plays like this.
Some are even predicting this could be a “dress rehearsal” for impeachment hearings against Trump.
If Democrats win the House and push impeachment, there’s no telling what claims could come up.
Do you think the Senate should confirm Kavanaugh?
