Justice Brett Kavanaugh went through hell and back in his confirmation fight.
Democrats went all out to destroy his reputation all for political gain.
But now their attacks are coming back to bite them in a huge way.
Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s Fight For The Supreme Court
Brett Kavanaugh faced the most contentious Supreme Court confirmation ever.
Democrats went all out to make him seem like an evil villain.
They started by lying about how his rulings would affect people.
Some even claimed his confirmation would result in people dying.
But those claims had no credibility.
That’s when they began pulling out the big guns.
Three women dropped sexual misconduct allegations against him.
It began with Christine Blasey Ford saying he tried to rape her.
Then another claimed he exposed himself to her.
And finally, a woman claimed he saw him at “gang rape parties.”
After these claims dropped, his confirmation was put on hold.
They waited weeks and finally had Ford testify before the Senate.
She provided no evidence but still claimed that she was credible.
But despite all this, Democrats failed to block his confirmation.
And he is now sitting on the Supreme Court.
Democrats Lost Big On Kavanaugh
While Democrats lost the initial fight to block Kavanaugh, it isn’t all they lost.
The American people are furious at the treatment he got.
So at election time, it created many problems for them.
A number of Democrats in conservative states voted against Kavanaugh.
Among them were Heidi Heitkamp and Claire McCaskill.
Heitkamp, or North Dakota, faced an embarrassing loss.
And McCaskill lost handedly in Missouri.
Many believe the reason they lost, at least at the margins they did is because of the Kavanaugh confirmation process.
Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says the Kavanaugh process was “an adrenaline shot” for Republicans.
It not only turned some moderate Republicans and Independents, but it was motivation for many who may not have voted to begin with.
While Democrats won back the House, they lost ground in the Senate.
Kavanaugh is likely the reason that happened.
Democrats Win The House, Lose The Senate
Election Day brought good and bad news for Republicans.
Despite losing the House, gaining seats in the Senate made the night great for Trump.
Historically, the first midterm of a president results in losing seats in the Senate.
Obama nearly lost the Senate during his first midterm election.
But Trump is doing so well that he exceeded expectations.
It was nowhere near the blue wave Democrats were hoping for.
This proves that the American people still stand with Trump.
Unemployment is hitting historic lows.
And the economy is improving every day.
If things keep improving, 2020 will be a great year for President Trump.
He’s doing much better than virtually any other president in history.
And the left is losing their minds at that fact.
Do you approve of Trump so far?
