The confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh is a huge loss for the left.
They did everything to try to stop him.
And now that he’s on the Supreme Court, Kellyanne Conway pointed out exactly how Kavanaugh will end Planned Parenthood.
Kavanaugh On Abortion
Being an appointee of President Trump, Kavanaugh is pro-life.
That is what infuriated liberals more than anything.
Even after the claims of sexual assault dropped on him, the most vocal groups opposing him were pro-abortion organizations.
The sexual assault claims were just a convenience for them.
They have been opposing Kavanaugh since day one.
That’s because they know Kavanaugh can do the one thing that could end them.
If Roe v. Wade is repealed it can end abortion.
Repealing Roe v. Wade on its own doesn’t end abortion.
But it gives states the right to regulate abortion.
That ruling is the only thing standing in the way of a number of states making abortion illegal.
So it is a big deal for both pro-life and pro-abortion groups.
Kellyanne Conway On Kavanaugh
Kellyanne Conway understands this as well as anybody.
And she believes the confirmation of Kavanaugh will lead towards states regulating abortion.
In an interview, she blasts those who consider themselves “pro-choice.”
“To be pro-choice in 2018 means that you are for sex-selection abortion, that you’re for late-term abortion, taxpayer-funded abortion, abortion after you detect a heartbeat.”
She then says that states will begin looking into laws to stop those things.
Conway doesn’t predict that states will outright end abortion, but she does think they will regulate it.
She says that states will look into late-term abortion, sex-selective abortion, and abortion past the point of pain.
Conway also goes after Planned Parenthood for receiving government funding to the tune of half a billion dollars a year.
Defunding Planned Parenthood has been a long-held goal of pro-life activists.
While they aren’t allowed to use it for abortion in most cases.
But it does offset other expenses.
Courts Blocking Abortion Restrictions
Roe v Wade has overturned many state abortion laws.
It has made restricting abortion very difficult.
States have been able to pass some restrictions.
But they never go as far as intended.
That’s how Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics continue to operate in red states.
The only way to change that is through a Supreme Court decision.
And with Justice Kavanaugh confirmed, they may finally get that.
That’s the reason the left fought him so hard.
They began making up ridiculous claims about how his rulings will result in death and loss of rights.
And when that didn’t work they began pushing unsubstantiated claims of sexual misconduct.
Their claims made many believe Kavanaugh is a rapist.
So even with him being confirmed, he will never rebuild his reputation with many people.
And the left truly doesn’t care.
They are perfectly fine with ruining his life.
He is their enemy, and they are willing to play rough.
