It seems like CNN’s entire goal is to take down President Trump.
They almost constantly air anti-Trump stories.
But on a rare case where a pro-Trump voice was at the table, Kellyanne Conway left everyone at CNN speechless with one point.
While sitting down with CNN’s Jake Tapper during a Sunday morning show, the two discussed a number of stories related to President Trump.
The story Tapper was most insistent on getting an answer from Conway on related to Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, making a payment to Stormy Daniels.
The left is dedicated to getting to the bottom of that, and even when President Trump explains what happened, they are looking for some way to nail Trump.
Conway simply answered the question stating that she didn’t know.
But after answering she asked Tapper a question of her own.
Conway wanted to know why CNN has spent so much time covering the allegations related to Stormy Daniels.
She cited a Media Research Center study that showed that the network hosted Daniel’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, at least 59 times in than two weeks.
Conway also pointed out the fact that a poll released by CNN shows the American people don’t care about the Stormy Daniels story nearly as much as they care about other, more important stories.
The American people are more interested in hearing about the economy, or developments between the United States and North Korea.
CNN’s own polling shows that they would do much better running those stories.
But it would be hard for them to attack President Trump on those issues, considering that the unemployment rate is lower than it was during the presidency of Barack Obama, and that we are nearing a peace deal with North Korea.
To CNN, attacking Trump is more important than covering real stories.
As reported by The Daily Caller:
“Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway called out CNN for their wall-to-wall coverage of Stormy Daniels, insisting that the network has “invested a lot” in the story.
CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Conway during a Sunday morning “State of the Union” interview when the president found out that his lawyer, Michael Cohen, had made a payment to Daniels.
Conway said she didn’t know before chiding CNN for focusing so heavily on the allegations, apparently citing a Media Research Center study that found the network hosted Stormy’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, at least 59 times in less than two months.
“Respectfully, I know that CNN has invested a lot in this story and in Ms. Daniels’ attorney,” Conway said. “He has appeared on your network over 65 times in less than two months. That is a choice that you make.”
Conway followed up her criticism by noting that the network’s polls show that the American people are not interested in the Stormy Daniels story in the way that they are interested in the economy, North Korea, and other issues.
Tapper seemed unfazed by Conway’s attack on CNN and snapped right back to the question of the payment to Daniels.”
It’s surprising that CNN even brought Kellyanne Conway on their station.
They have been very hateful and nasty to her in the past.
That might have something to do with the fact that she consistently stumps them when on their shows.
