We are well into the second week of impeachment hearings against President Donald Trump.
And so far, the left has not been able to find any true evidence against the President.
But that could all change as one key impeachment witness just betrayed President Trump in the worst way.
With the left’s witch hunt of an impeachment probe nearing the end of its second week, the committee has not been able to find any solid proof that the President or any of his staff committed the crimes they are accused of.
Several key witnesses have already been interviewed, but so far Adam Schiff and his fellow Democrats have not been able to pin anything on the President.
But that could all change with the testimony of a new impeachment witness.
This past Tuesday, Kurt Volker, a former envoy for Ukraine negotiations, was interviewed by members of Congress.
Last month when speaking to members of the House, Volker had previously stated, under oath, that no official representatives of the United States government had ever communicated with the Ukrainian government about suspending aid.
Now, Volker has changed his testimony and has betrayed his President.
“I have learned many things that I did not know at the time of the events in question,” he stated Tuesday during the televised portion of the impeachment hearings.
“I did not know others were conveying a different message to them around that same time,” Volker continued, speaking in reference to EU ambassador Gordon Sondland.
Several witnesses have come forward against Ambassador Sondland, stating that he told Ukrainian officials that they would not receive military aid from the US government unless an official investigation into Joe Biden and his son Hunter was announced.
Volker did stand by his former testimony, stating that at no time did he know of an effort to have Ukraine investigate the former Vice President.
After denying multiple times in closed door testimonies that he told the Ukrainian government that they should investigate the Biden family, Volker has now publicly changed his story and announced that he did speak with Ukrainian officials.
He now says that he did tell the Ukrainian government that no aid would be given unless they publicly announced a probe into Vice President Biden and his son.
Volker states that hearing others’ testimonies during the hearing refreshed his memory.
But telling a foreign government to launch a public investigation into a former Vice President is not something easily forgotten.
With the impeachment trial continuing, President Trump needs all the allies he can get.
Yet even those on his official staff have turned against him and given into the left’s lies.
President Trump continues to stay strong and fight for the American people throughout this investigation.
But Adam Schiff and the rest of the far left are determined to see the President out of office so they can force their own agenda on the American government and its people.
