CNN airs around the clock programming smearing Donald Trump.
But their lies just caught up with them.
That’s because Laura Ingraham exposed the one truth that could ruin CNN.
CNN is spiraling.
The laughably self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news” has become synonymous with fake news.
Donald Trump aptly named the network “Very Fake News,” and CNN has routinely gone out of its way to prove him right.
CNN was supposedly caught staging a vigil after an Islamic terrorist attack in London.
Three CNN reporters resigned in disgrace after retracting a false story about former White House staffer Anthony Scaramucci.
And investigative journalist James O’Keefe got CNN anchors on camera admitting the Trump-Russia story was a “nothing-burger,” yet they constantly pushed the story on air.
CNN’s constant missteps have left the network a distant third in the cable news race, well behind MSNBC, and Fox News, who maintains a dominant lead.
Perhaps the poster child for CNN’s incompetence is, among many options, White House correspondent Jim Acosta.
Acosta has earned the well-deserved reputation for being a grandstander who does anything to steal the spotlight.
During the first United States/North Korea summit, Acosta belted questions at dictator Kim Jong Un as he and Trump signed an agreement.
During a White House briefing, Acosta refused to hand the microphone to a press aide and karate-chopped her arm in the process.
Acosta loves to play the victim.
He appears at Trump rallies and bemoans the “hatred” the press receives, then he signs autographs and takes pictures with attendees.
Acosta is again playing up his victimhood status.
Acosta claimed that Trump refused to take questions from American press during his second summit with North Korea, only Russian and Chinese outfits.
This lie was quickly exposed, as others pointed out that Trump took questions from the New York Times, The Washington Post, ABC, Fox, Bloomberg, and NPR.
Acosta was upset that he didn’t get called on.
Fox News’s Laura Ingraham called him out for his narcissism.
Of course Jim @Acosta, who mischaracterized the Trump #Hanoi presser, can't take a joke and reacts with invective. "[My] kind of people" includes reporters who stick to the facts and don't need to make themselves the center of every story. Try it sometime. #AmericaUnited https://t.co/6WuKL4J6i8

Acosta tried to characterize Fox News as state-run propaganda, which is insane considering CNN’s dwindling credibility.
Acosta and other leftists tried to run with the narrative that Trump held the North Korea summit to distract from Michael Cohen’s testimony before Congress.
The suggestion is preposterous because the summit had been scheduled well in advance, and Trump didn’t avoid any questions about Cohen’s laughable testimony.
Cohen’s assertions were so ridiculous, even CNN admitted he perjured himself.
Acosta and other leftists can dish it out, but they can’t take it.
Instead, they go after their opponents’ advertisers.
Activists have tried to have Laura Ingraham’s show pulled from the air.
CNN needs to focus more on their diminishing brand, and less on what Fox News is doing.
Fox News continues to crush it in the cable news ratings.
Meanwhile, CNN is struggling with Nickelodeon shows and History Channel reruns.
