Attorney General William Barr is working overtime to fight back the treasonous deep state.
But Democrats are making his job as difficult as they possibly can.
And one lawsuit just landed on William Barr’s doorstep and it’s bad news for Trump.
The first two years of President Donald Trump’s presidency was hell for him.
Trump didn’t know who he could trust.
That’s because many of his top officials were actively working against him while serving in his Administration.
Every few days, somebody would leak something to the media.
And there were officials who were outright insubordinate, who would not follow Trump’s orders.
Nobody opposed him more than the FBI.
After all, his first FBI Director, James Comey, openly conspired with the deep state to try to take down Trump.
Comey had been working behind the scenes, signing off on frivolous FISA surveillance warrant applications to spy on Trump’s campaign.
And after the election, Comey continued on trying to smear Trump, briefing him on the infamous and discredited Trump Russia dossier in order to give the media reason to release it to the public.
So Trump fired Comey.
But he isn’t the only top-level FBI official he had to fire.
After being caught leaking information to the media, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired.
And now Andrew McCabe is suing Trump’s Justice Department, which William Barr leads.
McCabe’s complaint is simply an attempt to smear President Trump, who was well within his right to fire his former FBI Director.
During his time, McCabe was not in any way loyal to the Administration he was serving in.
He was one of many officials serving in high-level government positions that were working to harm President Trump while working for him.
So naturally, McCabe is still trying to harm Trump, handing the media fodder to attack his former boss.
In the 48-page complaint, McCabe alleges that Trump Administration officials “responded to Plaintiff’s two decades of unblemished and non-partisan public service with a politically motivated and retaliatory demotion in January 2018 and public firing in March 2018 — on the very night of Plaintiff’s long-planned retirement from the FBI.”
He also claims that Trump “purposefully and intentionally caused the unlawful actions of Defendants … and other Executive Branch subordinates that led to Plaintiff’s demotion and purported termination.”
“It was Trump’s unconstitutional plan and scheme to discredit and remove DOJ and FBI employees who were deemed to be his partisan opponents because they were not politically loyal to him. Plaintiff’s termination was a critical element of Trump’s plan and scheme,” McCabe’s complaint reads.
McCabe’s main point in his complaint is that his firing was due to Trump believing he was not “politically loyal to him.”
But there’s a big difference between “not being politically loyal,” and being openly hostile and insubordinate.
McCabe was working to harm President Trump and his Administration while serving as one of his top officials.
If Obama had done the same thing to an official doing a fraction of what McCabe did, the mainstream media would be on Obama’s side fully.
Do you think the media is biased against President Trump?
